Taylor Wimpey Its not all about the T line but adapting to present market conditions. Made good money using the T line in that long bull trend. However price is now trading sideways so T line says stay out. Well not necessarily. Price is now ranging between 180 and 200 so sell go short at 200 buy go long at 180 with tight stop losses in case of a breakout imo. Philipkeets I believe you are on the right track with these longer priced nags.I've been toying with that idea for some time but just restricted it to my 14/1's but also 33/1's too. I've gone back to win only in most cases too. Take Harry's tips today. Normally I would put more on the 15/8 2nd than the 20/1 and I know Harry does ew on 5/1 upwards That's £7 losers and £25 win net 18. But if one did 2 win on each that would have been 10 quid outlay but 42 return net 32. I did do an exercise on my win only bets as opposed to ew last year and I was marginally ahead on ew but that was not taking into account putting more on lower odds than higher odds. Notice most including me talk about 'small' ew on longer odds. I'm wondering if it should be the other way round More on the longer odds because when they pay off they will help cover the losing bets more easily. We will see. My 14/1's bank is nicely in credit. Been looking at 20/1, 25/1 and 33/1. There are a lot of 8/1, 9/1, and 10/1 winners most days but conversely too many horses at those odds to back them all, not so the longer odds. Thanks for pointing out SDS's ride in the DERBY. Just got 16/1. Have also done an ante post of £20 at 20/1 on Masaad I think but can't find IT in Betfair. Good morning Chinook. I have checked your postings out and remember posting replies to your questions about the T line but they may have been deleted as a result of the concentrated attack on me. Suffice to say you need to get clued up on the 12 major reversal candle stick patterns and to recognise them when they appear. Then you should view the education video. About an hour. Then paper trade them to get used to making decisions. How you use them depends on your money management,investment style, attitude to risk and whether you have a plan in advance when making an investment decision. I concentrate first on loss risk then on gain. If odds don't fit or if enough secondry confirmations are not present I don't take a trade . As a result I do miss a few good trades. It isn't easy as I would be a millionaire but I certainly don't lose big anymore, as I cut my losses short and let my profits run. The 2 ema's help with that. Not infallible there will be losses and false starts. The 88e project if it comes to fruition is a 2/3 year one with a lot of ifs and buts along the way and many imponderables. I share you view on 88e's near term direction.
