I bought in Evraz as a long term thing last August at just over 6 pounds and got kinda stuck when it dropped as i was in hospital with Covid and didnt know what was going on as i was quite ill, I bought more shares and sold and bought etc and managed to bring my avarage down to just a quid, I was trying to sell when it was suspended but was unable to,

In the meantime i have tried to recoup some money in Poly which i have made just over 100% and sold today as they were falling so in real terms made 90%

So thats it now i wont invest in anything else i will wait for Evraz to trade again, Hopefully it will, I will then decide what to do, depending on the SP

Paul, I asked because as far as i can see the Government have acted unlawfully (obv just my view) and i dont like my money being "trapped" where i cannot get at it,

I was about to sell my Evraz shares when it was suspended and put the money into Poly, Obviously i ended up putting a smaller amount in Poly because the main part of my "pot" in in Evraz,
I wonder if a person could bring a claim against the Government for "loss" because of money trapped in Evraz is stopping you trading elsewhere and making good profit as I have made over 100% in Poly, !

You can buy Poly right now via HL I bought in last week and have more than doubled so far !

IMO it seems people who come on here ****ging Evraz off etc are maybe a tad jealous because they are on the outside looking in, They really wish they were in looking out ! Unfortunately they missed the boat !

Good Jean ! Im of the same frame of mind as you, I feel the end game is nearing re the War and Evraz suspension being lifted.

Oracle, It does not happen all the time to 2 top 100 Blue Chip companies now does it !

I'm very optimistic my shares in Evraz are not down the pan and will be trading again, In the meantime im playing with Poly !
Poly and Evraz are vastly under priced, They have only dropped to these levels because of the war, If there had been no war the shares wouldn't be such a temptation !

Obviously wish the war had never started, But it did, and here we are, the potential with these two (Poly and Evraz) is something that would never have come to be but for this war, Call it a perfect Storm, It will never happen again.

As long as we get back to trading then this suspension will have done more good than harm ! even if your 50% correct and SP was around 140p that would be fab combined with dividend which they will eventually start paying again,
Then over the next few years build up to 300p plus !
Obviously we have to get back trading first so no good counting chickens just yet !
