Was Russia sanctions after Crimea invasion 10 years ago ? Yes, yes they were.

Was Iran Sanctioned for Decades, yet they still managed to fund goodness knows how many different H groups ? ?

In the modern world, sanctions have considerably less impact, because of shadow fleets or 3rd Parties Regional suppliers, or the likes of India & China who do not care what Oil they are buying, as long as it's beneficial for their country.

Russia had to suspend trading on the Rubble this week, due to the collapse.

I agree a low oil price is beneficial for everyone ( except Investments in OIL, obviously ), but that's not the sole option.

The way to Stop Russia, is to continue and ramp up what we are already doing and stand fast. More Weapons and Drones being provided, less restrictions and NOT concede Ukrainian land at any cost.

Anyone that thinks giving land to Russia is the way out and stops this, is not thinking for the next 10 or 20 years.

The streets are inundated with Fast Food shops run by people that do not look like you, with questionable food quality. The streets are full of people wearing head scarves and buying hundreds of pounds worth of food while driving there 1 / 2 year old expensive car.

The streets are full of people you can not understand what they are saying, because they do not speak your language.

If you believe the numbers on Immigration, just take some time to actually look around and listen.

We are being lied to on the grandest of scales..
