Actually not true, it can be both.. Passiv-Haus or Retrofit Standards require MVHR. This eliminates the Damp issues..

I wanted to remodel my home to Passiv-Haus / Retrofit standards, although ditched the idea, as the Architect alone wanted £20K, JUST FOR DRAWINGS and the modelling of the design !!!!

I certainly don't have the money to spend on what the project would cost for the " Deep Retrofit "

Maybe this point has been discussed already, but as I say, I don't have time to read the rest of the thread as at work
