I don't know much about them, so my comments may not be as valid, but I see them as Sharks sniffing blood or wanting a quick win, rather than wanting to create Shareholder value or in the interests of the business or the Economy.

I was certainly favouring Trump over Biden, although for many years / decades, I'm seeing USA as more of a threat to other countries, than a partner of choice. Don't get me wrong, they've done well over the Centuries, but we now face a situation that no country can let USA Fall / Fail, because we all fall / fail. But what does that mean to other countries, give in, be taken over or dictated what you can or can't do. Or they'll just buy you out, break you up, take the best bits and spit the rest out.

If shares held in treasury save the company Divident payments, then if they are released quickly, there is little saving, alternatively if held for 10 years and drip fed out, then it would natyurally save a great deal more in payments out of the business. So I think it does matter or at least impact how long those Shares are held in treasury.

Anyway, I'll leave you and LTI to outpost everyone and insulting others freely.

1. What percentage of BB are going into Treasury rather than cancelled???

2. How long before a decision made if cancelled or not???

3. If not cancelled how long before redistribution to Staff???

If there's a Hostile take-over, surely we wouldn't get the chance to decide sell out price, it'll be decided for us, and it'll be for a song of what it's actually worth..

What-ever, but across all the boards you constantly bang on about this, so it is you that is absolutely clueless about Buybacks if you think that spending the money to buy shares, to then put them in Treasury only to award staff, is "Share Holder Value", then IMO, it doe's not matter if you're a Longtimeinvestor. Yet again, another company using funds to NOT create Share Holder value, but to pay for Incentives, options or awards to employee's or Directors. Why not use the money to grow or change the business, be that re-structuring for more efficiencies or maybe even debt reduction..

As per LTI’s historic posts, the Market decides the Share Price of any given share at any given time. Just because he has a calculator to do division, it does not mean that equation is what the market would determine if that amount of shares were still in issue.

So it is a person opinion, not fact.

And I'd be treating the existing Illegals in the country the same way Trump is...
