I have been considering recently the Dividend value for BP..

As the Share price increases ( and in my opinion the SP is still lower than it should be, ) the Divident yield is not as attractive as I once felt it was.

There are much better Divi payers out there and I think it's about time BP upped theirs..

It's getting to my previously frequently commented price of £4.50.. The price where I feel BuyBacks are also no longer of value.

Along with balancing Russia's pending Oil Collapse ( Hopefully ) vs Recession and fear in a few months via a disaterous Labour budget and what that will do to BP and the Market as a whole.

I believe if PM’s want to introduce new legislation or laws that’s not in the Manifesto, they have to go back to the General public for a GE, or wait till next Election and fine tweak it so it’s not rush and you can pursues cross party agreements.

All this bloody scrapping of policies every 4 / 5 years is killing the economy and trust for citizens and in investments into the country.

The Government are clueless and a shambles.

My vote is solely with Farage even after everything I’ve heard recently. Also my dislike for Starmer is still at its highest!

Re post at 17:29.. I’ve not check other more recent posts as a flying visit to the site..

I fully agree that many migrants spent a lot of money through “the right channels” in gaining right to remain.. and they probably provide a great deal of value to Britain in their ethics and work commitments.

But there must be a Million or more, of those that over stayed, entered illegally, played the system, on benefits with large families or in our prisons. Easily this is area to focus on straight away for mass deportations..

I’d be focusing on how tax they pay, because there are too many newly arrived ( within the past 10 - 20 years ), that evade tax through corner shops or the like. If they hardly pay tax, they’re gone!!

Then when we’ve realised we need jobs filling because people have been removed from the country, our own citizens are managed with reduced benefits to fill those jobs. Maybe sone jobs are managed by part time workers, due to 1 reason or another, but productivity is massively increased and benefits massively reduced.

Less housing pressure and less 💩 in our sewer system, less crime on our streets because are actually working. Those that are still on the streets need support from drugs are alcohol and less people for police to manage..

I’ll be wholeheartedly supporting Farage in his Remigration plans buy giving my vote.

I’d love for the mortgage rates to come down by next Spring. My mortgage product is up for renewal in June, as would the government love the interest rates to come down as well, as the country is going to really struggle with debt payments IMO.

I should have went for a 10 year product instead of 5, foolish me!!

My debt is £100k.. How the hell is this country supposed to pay our eye watering interest payment let alone the debt, especially if the government is constantly borrowing more and more than forecasted. Even the forecasts were worrying, but we’re exceeding even those numbers.

The boats keep coming and more and more Terr0r!sts are found to be here, the welfare budget is out of control from years of abuse, there’s protests across the country every weekend from 1 faction or another and the government sell anything that moves to foreign countries for a few quid and Nut Zero is constantly increasing our monthly energy bills.

Then we await Nov 26 from our glorious special 1, I sense a lot more anger to come yet.

I’m sure the general public would have accepted small tax increases when Labour came in last year, IF we knew it was being spent wisely.

As for TW, I’ve held shares on and off for a decade or 2, but their half the price of SP of yesteryears.

IMO, being British has previously meant “turning the cheek” so it’s more obvious now on alternative outlets like investing Forums that frustration is spilling over.

I agree it’s maybe not the best environment to discuss such political matters, but rarely before has Politics been at the forefront of the problems general people face.

For the millionaires on here that are protected, they are more than likely within a bubble, for the Millions of general people, the anger is a mist in the air that everyone can taste. My palate has had enough of it
