RE: Who Owns What22 Mar 2019 21:14
Roy, 7 million sounds sweet, PJ over at ADVFN has over 12 million now, I’m at 3.2 million, what’s Adam have? last time he mentioned he had 6 million, serious holdings, PJ and I are discussing a takeover or buyout, my take is we will have a plan B, the Candy brothers offered 13p a share many years back as they figured MTL would struggle to finance the mine build costs, their offer was rejected, and MTL secured finance with our current banks, so IF the banks were crazy enough to not refinance, which I really can’t see, but let’s say they don’t offer sensible terms, then it makes sense that the major shareholders would pay off the banks, why wouldn’t they? the company can’t change hands, but the current parties can own it outright, would current shareholders have to stump up a portion of the debt? as it’s all our debt, PIs, investment banks and major shareholders, would the banks take a hair cut? say they would take 50p in the pound, either that or they risk losing nearly all of their loan, they can’t sell a mine that they can’t get a new licence deal for, if the banks took $32 million, that’s 1.6p per share, would we have to stump up 1.6p per share to remove the banks from the equation? I’m only guessing here as I haven’t experience in this, if shareholders couldn’t raise 1.6p per share, what are their options? Thoughts anyone? I doubt these thoughts will ever happen, I’m confident they will be monitoring gold production as we speak, to gauge repayments that suit the business income and ensure they get all their money with fair interest.
Seriously exciting weeks to come, I’m super confident we’re going to transform in this next month, solid production results and agreed refinance terms, have a great weekend everyone
