Gentleman1:
Will try and do a vid one evening this week or at the week-end when the site will be quieter.
Bluetoff:
Just keeping it honest and saying what I see......to quote a catchphrase.

"kept in beer"? Some would say, I'm half pickled already !!!!
Just been down to Plot10B and work has started on our permanent access road.
Plant supplied by Redstart Northwest and they have two JCB excavators, two dump trucks and four vans in attendance.
They have started to scrape off the surface of the old Marsh Lane bridleway that runs between Plot10B and Plot 9B, and will provide access to Plot 10B and Plot 13.
A little bit of good news regarding progress!
mjallen:
From the latest consultation document I understand it to be 6 plots included in the plans for the Plastic Park.
Plots 9B, 10A, 10B, 11,12,13
Of which, Plots 10B and 13 have detailed planning approval with Section 73 conditions and discharges applied for regarding Plot 10B and temporary use of Plot10A.
The planning for the remaining plots are yet to be applied for but assuming a similar timescale as was achieved for Plot 10B from consultation to approval, this would be approx 9 months.
As community consultation has just been done an assumed date for approval would be around April/May 2022.
As yet we dont know the basis for how the remaining parts of the Plastic Park would be financed, developed and operated, there is still a lot to be clarified.
So, basically Peel have hold of the reins, IMO, and if the construction of our DMG is firmly enmeshed in the development of the overall Plastic Park, completion of all the three stages of the DMG during 2023 looks a little optimistic.
Dr.A: The numbers you are quoting are likely erroneous because if the source is LSE then the buys and sells are way out for reasons stated on here, previously.
In addition, (pardon the pun) the sum of the stated sells is incorrect as it should be 16074655, creating a theoretical deficit between sells and buys of approx 3.25m, so not sure where the stated 14m came from.
Hope you don't mind the correction.
Sentiment here feels somewhat diminished, mainly triggered by the announcement of the recent change in anticipated completion date for Plot10B, but there are, IMO, other contributing factors.
It doesn't help having reports of HW saying that Poland will be the first to be up and running and TY announcing that Protos will be the focus and priority for PHE. It's suspected that there's been a rift between DR and TY and why has it taken 8 months to start the recruitment process for a CEO when DR announced his stepping down last November?
The DMG at Protos has now become totally enmeshed in the Peel development of their vision of a Plastic Park and PHE have lost control, IMO, of any timescales and funding of the development of the first DMG ( without PHE going their own way, if agreements allow, and self funding arranged).
As for the sudden realisation that the completion dates for the DMG were based on the timescales for a three stage development is barely credible - did DR keep that as a secret and left a note with his Hi -Vis jacket and safety helmet, to be found on his day of departure ?
TY said recently that the stating of the 31st October date for financial closure will provide concentration and focus to achieve that date, did the stating of 31st March for the same, not also do that? Apparently not.
You can only kick the can so far down the road until people stop chasing it!
Two years ago a community event was held regarding the DMG at Protos, and now we are doing the same for the Plastic Park - it is not feeling like real progress for the DMG development.
Don't get me wrong, I have faith in the technology and what it can deliver and proud that it could happen on my doorstep, but we need real clarity over the situation with Peel, IMO.
I understood from Thurs RNS that the DMG on Plot 10B is anticipated to be completed during 2023 and any thought around an early 2022 completion date may just be wishful thinking IMO. Having said that, it begs the question why go to the expense and trouble to build a temporary access road and submit to planning a proposal to use Plot10A for material storage and equipment, at this stage.
It is coming across that PHE is too embroiled in Peels vision of a Plastic Park and is now governed by their timescales and overall plans for all the plastic related units, particularly if PHE are relying on Peel to find/provide the residual funding required for the DMG construction.
An alternative, if the the agreements with Peel allow it, is for PHE to develop Plot 10B, on a go it alone basis, but that would necessitate PHE raising their own funding, with all the implications that would be involved.
Its more than 2 years since DR was here in the village doing the two day community event about the development and their was no mention of an integrated Plastic Park at that stage, and its 16 months since PHE was granted Planning Approval and we still don't know how Plot 10B is to be funded.
Poor show regarding Protos since TY took over the reins and PHE need to get a bloody move on or it will get left behind and will be seen as a gravytrain/lifestyle company.

A lot of valid outrage about the delay in seeing the FOAK up and running, as Piltick says, without the reasoning for the delay being clarified.
The site was cleared last Dec/Jan with only minor works being undertaken since then, but with statements from TY in interviews saying "construction has started" at Protos, - yes it has but not on Plot 10B.
There seems to be a distinct lack of commitment from Peel and their financial suitors since TY came to the helm and I feel this is the real reason for the delay in financial closure, which in turn will delay the date of the FOAK.
HUI, IMO, will not provide the FOAK, as they come across as being supported on more hot air than even W2T was.
Are we seeing a pattern here :
W2T was riding on the back of PHE and then became PHE and now we have HUI riding on the back of PHE, with rumours of looking to do an IPO (just like W2T was), and who gained out of all those shenanigans ?
All gone very murky here with timelines for Protos financial close and completion of the DMG being pushed into the future, so I'll sit it out on the sidelines for the time being.
Getting the feeling that there is a disconnect between Peel and PHE regarding the financial close, possibly related to TY, because everything seemed to be progressing nicely with DR at the helm, and since DR announced his stepping down, progress with Peel has slowed somewhat.
Still think the Protos site will be the FOAK, but just longer to wait.
Dr A.:
A little clarification on where we are regarding getting serious construction up and running, would be good. Also how far from financial closure are we, and what remaining hurdles are there, in the way of achieving it. So, a decent briefing note, pre-AGM would be most useful.
Dr.A:
Are you saying that the planning application 21/01113/DIS, which is related to the consented 19/03489/FUL for Plot 10B falls under Section 73 ?
I'm not sure, as I understand (from a little research) that Section 73 relates to "amending" conditions attached to a planning application, or applying to progress without the attached conditions.
21/0113/DIS is additional information to discharge the attached conditions, in this case relating to Traffic management, environment management and air quality.
In addition, the site plan attached with 21/0113/DIS shows the use of PLOT 10A to provide Material / Equipment Storage, Car Parking etc to facilitate the construction on Plot 10B. I would have thought this was a material amendment to the original application and would need to go through Planning Approval. Obviously this is my view as a layperson and someone with actual planning experience could shed some light, perhaps.
If it does need Planning Approval by the full Committee, then there may well be a delay to the start of serious construction on Plot 10B, IMO.
