Unusual volumes today - RNS tomorrow???

Belles: if you're invested in TRP tread carefully, honestly. This is no de-ramp or manipulation or otherwise, just experience. If you believe in the long term objectives of TRP, OK, but wait, and wait long(IMHO), as there will be plenty of opportunities to top up cheaply further down the line. As dilution is a pre-requisite, but I suspect a consolidation will happen before that. If I was you just stand back and watch, carefully. This is a hot one, they will take your cash quite easily. Tread carefully, but its your decision and your money.

Thats interesting. Cos I'm sticking with LGO as I think the bottom has been reached there, but have been in and out of SRT as the cash flow is sporadic to say the least, and even though I think SRT have a sound product(s), getting then to market, in the right volumes is an issue. I think it was about 6-9 months ago CEO was saying(words to the effect of) " all our buses are arriving at once". Still waiting for the first big bus

BS; Totally with you on that one. Wasn't questioning your post - just outlining how gullible the BOD think the PIs are, by putting a size on their exploration plans, in terms of shares. Afterall, this is how they normally end up raising money for pointless drills(so to speak). Perhaps their drills have been "pointless" and thats been the underlying problem. Wouldn't touch this with a 4000ft pointless drillbit.

A company with pretty much 1 share for every human being in the world has being doing something wrong. Dilution of shares is a direct product of fund raising and failure. "Glowing in the Dark" I remember the halcyon days when some were saying they were having that tatooed on their arm when TRP found oil in Namibia. Meanwhile...............................................

Its a bit quiet here now. I remember when there were 50 pages per night posted on TRP pre: the Namibia drill. Just shows what success does for a company.

Nicki - you are right, the dynamics of the game are changing with the O&G explorers. The swings in sp that could be traded in the build up to spud and discovery have long gone (re:TRP & FOGL recently). investors are wanting more substance and a proven track record, with perhaps some projects on the way to production (re: Sou). However, it doesn't stop the "riser followers" being manipulated like they were today (and yesterday) by TRP and the MMs, which to be honest I have no sympathy for if they are now stuck with TRP shares. The writing was clearly to be seen but greed obscured the vision. We know there are few "rules" on AIM so it is Caveat Emptor, and don't complain if you get sold a dud.

Gloster, thanks for the updates, cos I don't keep a detailed eye on BOD as its so slow moving. The 15% free carry in the Gope region was interesting - has there been a RNS to this effect ?? Its worded as if it was agreed in January 2015, with this un-named company. Onwards & Upwards

2477 - Its not good. basically at the moment you need a 50% increase on the "bid" to get your money back if you bought at 1.50. Which is one hell of an increase. Big spreads tend to happen on the more illiquid shares i.e. lesser volumes/minimum volumes traded per day. On more liquid shares, the spread can give you an indication on whether the MMs want to accumulate shares or whether they want to divest them.

Apologies accepted by me, and I in turn, apologise for calling you a "numpty". We all have different methods of selecting companies for investment - from liking the name to analysis of 10 years P&Ls. I agree with you, that BBs shouldnt be a place for rudeness or abuse, but what never ceases to amaze me is the way electronic media (like BBs) create a different approach in communication, by people. As an analogy, if you were interested in living in a particular neighbourhood, you wouldn't knock on the door of a strangers house and tell him you didn't like his curtains/stone cladding/ windows/ car on the drive etc and say "you're glad you didn't buy a house around here". It wouldn't set the scene for constructive discussion about the neighbourhood. Anyway good luck with your future investments.

Nice one May, just picked up on the numpty post " it doesn't even generate revenue" - priceless. That wipes out 75% of AIM in one go. He/She must pick out companies to post on, based on revenue - busy little bee, he/she will be. Onwards & Upwards
