LL:Just going to post something similar. MFL: The 40% saving must apply to a significant proportion of the cost base (albeit, one area) or the figures wouldn't correlate with the stated anticipated burn rate, by RP of £250k per month. Not clear of the relevance of the "6-0.4 is 5.6"

LL: Just being cautious with the calcs. Even though RP said most of the booked revenue is in Q1, I've just assumed the worst i.e. half. Same with the annual target, just using numbers that have been stated rather than over egging the cake. I agree, the US will be the place to cash raise, as there will be more "appreciation" of the type of company that Boom is. Regarding timing of placing: I have a gut feeling that it could be sooner, but is RP planning to stretch the existing cash, coupled with increasing revenue until after Q1 2017 results have been published. Hopefully these would drive the sp a little higher and then the timing of the placing would be less costly, in terms of no. of shares.

Just been listening to RPs podcast again and have been trying to make sense of his numbers re: costs. As I see it: We opened the year with £3.1m cash Placing proceeds of £2.3m Revenue of £1.3m Total for year £6.7m Minus: £0.7m year end cash = £6m costs for the year. However, RP stated "once off exceptionals" of £0.4m = £5.4m for the year ongoing costs Head count savings of £0.465m = £ 4.935m Likely savings of 40% for 2017 = £2.96m, say £3m p.a. or £250,000 per month, going forward, which oddly enough is what RP states in the podcast. If we target £5m revenue for 2017 growing as follows (my guess) Q1 - £0.5m Q2 - £1m Q3 - £1.5m Q4 - £2m With operating costs at £250k per month gross profit looking possible early in H2. Dependant on "other" costs and expenditure, it shouldn't need a massive placement to see us through to the profitable times. A tad simplistic, I know, and a little "rose tinted" but it gives me a guide, by which to assess the forthcoming trading updates. The full year end would be good to be able to see the full costs incurred.

An excellent RNS this morning stuffed with some really good numbers and confirmation of revenue of £1.3m.(without doublespeak) 6 fold increase on 2015, for gods sake. Typical market response though (in terms of sp) as losses are greater than expected, but we are re-focussing on the US hence extra costs, for the short term. "Profit is sanity " malarkey........ its an IT start up company, aiming for a 10% share of a £1bn plus market in 3-4 years. Stick that in your profit modelling software over the next three years. So what are we possibly looking at re: revenue 2017 £6m plus, 2018 £20-25, 2019 £50-60m, 2020 £100m All the hard work is happening now for returns in the coming years. Yes, we will need more cash, and there will be dilution, but that's how you fund a start up business. IMO, I suspect that Boom will be a company where many will look back, in the future, and say " I knew I should have bought some of them" Right, just off to raid the grandkids piggy banks...........they'll thanks me for it in a couple of years. Just thought: the average AIM "investor" has the attention span of a 2 day old goldfish, could that be the problem

Leapfrog: My original "year end" post was a tad tongue in cheek, as I believe AB will deliver with time, but I do find it odd that simple things like revenue (audited or otherwise) are often expressed in the obtuse. Stating numbers, first draft, unaudited etc would be a lot more preferable, for all parties, than contacting the BOD for clarification. Quite simple to me - take the time to quantify the revenue and state the numeric. Don't use double speak - doesn't look good, it appears evasive.

We are all looking forward to the release of the year end results, but lets hope that RP has had a few numeric lessons and will actually state numbers and not use weasel words of the ilk - the last quarter revenue, was more than half the double of the previous quarter, but less than triple of the first three quarters of the year. Doesn't come across well and suggests that there is something to hide. Lets have some straight easily digestible numeric news.

Just dropping in to say well done to all the stalwarts here, who appear to have turned a corner with PGD. I honestly thought this was for the gold mine in the sky, but it appears the new man is generating some change. Hope the good fortune continues - could be worth a small investment ?

Looks like the open offer to existing shareholders will around a 1:1 basis, with 25m shares on offer.(Assuming its based on existing shareholders) or 1:3 based on enlarged shareholding. Ok, no pushing............start to form an orderly line. The take up on this should be interesting, but could be that 2 out of 3 are already in the deal.

I think we have seen many formats of theses "Notifiable Interest" Holding RNSs, some state actual numbers some state > x%, < y% etc, but to me, from the info given, they have gone form 11% holding to less than 3%, hence item 13, being stated, which precludes the need for a given number. To be honest, I just hope no-one is tempted to buy in here, after the Namibia fiasco, which just stated that no hydro-carbons found and will be plugged and abandoned, with absolutely no follow up, autopsy or otherwise. No explanation of how the seismic was mis-interpreted, i.e. open and frank info exchange with shareholders, no conference call, basically FA. Confidence in this share ,IMO, is rock bottom - caveat emptor

See item 13 in the RNS - "No longer hold a notifiable interest" i.e. less than 3% If they still held 3m shares of the enlarged shareholding they would have 4.1%, which is still a notifiable interest, and would be stated as >4%. Also, shareholding % wouldn't be calculated on a future enlarged shareholding, prior to being admitted to the market IMO. (even though we know forward selling can happen).

New shares only on the market from the 13th Sept, so probably a genuine sell off, IMO. Threshold crossed on 8th Sept.
