No worries StockBoy. However I don't see AMER as a gamble, certainly not at the current sp.

StockBoy. There are always risks associated with oil production. The alternative is using vehicles that are at more risk than a pipeline. I was once invested in an oil company in Kazakhstan and the loss % there was huge. I also have to say Onshore carries less risk than offshore. There could be a blowout at a wellhead. Of course there are risks but that's the nature of your investment.
I see from your previous posts on the AMER bb that you also have concerns about the BoD's earnings. Perhaps you should consider a different sector to invest in if your worried about security.

Maybe played it down in order to buy shares on the cheap. :) They did state that further updates will be announced. They also stated that SOL-1 Will be drilled after full assessment of Ind-1 which now looks like it is being brought forward.

Does the update require a further RNS? This was taken from the update on the 10th December

Moneylender, it was posted on the ADVFN bb yesterday afternoon. Some discussion over there on its inaccuracies and conservative price target. Very poorly written and even poorer research.

These morning drops when the A trades seem to have more affect are the perfect time to top up. So tempted but have 3 tranches in good profit. Volume in the afternoon seems to be the pattern. Probably investors across the Atlantic.

Not forgetting interest earned on banked cash and the strong dollar. It is clear now that the company is about looking forward rather than what has occurred in the last couple of years.

sp strengthened going into the close. Bodes well for the morning.No doubt some investors selling into yesterdays news will be kicking themselves.

Cannot remember who called it yesterday in relation to additional Director Buys. Spot on. Unlike us, they will also be aware of who is on the share register.
At this rate we will have more news at the end of the month than the whole of 2018.

Bumble, SOL-1 may be brought forward too. Cos for that must have improved. Ground already prepared for spudding. Although I am pleased with today's rise my long-term thoughts on the sp is very much better than they were a couple of months ago.
