This would be so sweet if it was ingenuity 🤞but would moulding have allowed them to take part in the raising if there was a chance of this happening?

It actually makes sense that the change in shorts percentage is due to the new shares issued. They wouldn’t have been able to close that much without it affecting the sp. And as I said, who’s selling at the moment?

@yes - If remain co has 3 years of tax losses that's encouraging. I was under the impression ingenuity were getting the lot plus leaving us with all the debt! Did make me laugh when MM said but ingenuity is taking the lease liabilities. Ha wouldn't put it past him to make remain co pay the rents for ingenuity to fullfill from!

Yespsb - I'm only saying what MM said at the time the deal was done

Of course - the fee was supplying ingenuity services for free

From memory, no money was going to be changing hands. Ingenuity were just going to be handling their merchandise?

Thanks OSG. Been a shareholder here for 3 years and as everyone knows it hasn't been an easy ride. I kept the faith and was prepared to be patient, but since discovering I probably won't be able to keep hold of my ingenuity shares because I hold THG in my ISA, I feel really let down and am thinking the worst now with MM. I don't think there's any doubt that the share price has been dropped to facilitate the low valuation demerger of ingenuity

It doesn't look good. Balderton & QIA aren't interested in ingenuity. Say you are correct @yes and he's done this fund raise to get himself back over 50% and we received an offer for ingenuity 10x what's he's offering - would he be able to block the deal?

I guess we knew that, but I thought ingenuity was the main reason they were invested here, rather than beauty and nutrition?

OSG - I really hope this happens now because it looks like the only option I have is to convert ingenuity shares to remain Co shares at the ridiculous valuation. When I thought I could hold ingenuity shares, the valuation didn't bother me, but at best I might be able to hold them, if somehow I can take them out of my ISA. This would then have a tax implications if ingenuity decide to re-list in the future.

A take out now for the whole group or ingenuity would be my preference now. Apollo valued ingenuity at over 6x the current valuation MM is putting on it!

Hippo - The point is, it doesn't look like I'll be able to hold private shares in my ISA, so, I'll have to convert to thg shares. My hope is Apollo come in at a far better valuation / offer for either the whole group or just for ingenuity

So ifa shareholder decided to roll with ingenuity, how would the short be able to give them shares in ingenuity at a latter date given they won't be tradeable?

I'm with HL and I'm still waiting to hear back from them, but it is sounding like a right stich up as I wanted to keep ingenuity shares. Only hope now is for PE to come in and make an offer which blows MM's piddly offer out the water. Fingers crossed! Where's LA - he's supposed to protect us small holders!
