No I don’t think you are. MMs/brokers and traders looking for cheap shares are the problem. Especially ahead of a perceived news period. They will also sell on news so maybe a bit of a roller coaster on its way.Sometimes it is easier for me just being a dim investor

Agreed Seawolf, Potnak. One step at a time. Each milestone from here on in validates the science and the commercial strategy (or not).
I have considerable skin in the game and I base my decisions on news and logic. I have also had to review and justify maintaining my position on a few occasions.Personally, I am very comfortable provided I outlive the return on my investment.

Forgot to add that brokers and funds are feeling the pinch as a chill wind blows through the Industry. Investors going to cash is leading to reported job losses - Goldman sucks reported to be axing several hundred jobs and other funds reported as closing today.
The market has a vested interest in keeping share values low thus locking in cash.
Maybe we will witness the bookie going home on a bike after all

Anyway many levers being used to suppress the sp:
1. Buyers wanting cheap shares can force the sp down if the mms oblige them. Why wouldn’t they - it’s business for them.
2. From memory mms are permitted to retain x% of shares in circulation in order to be able to make a market. They will be maximising that.
3. Brokers will be squirrelling cheap shares away ready for any rise. Then sell back to maximise profit in addition to their fees.
4. Large brokers do not lend shares out to 3rd parties to short. That may be true but it doesn’t stop them from borrowing our shares from nominee accounts to go short (at their own risk of course).
5. Filling cheap buy orders has the effect of choking the share price and keeping volume levels low.

Add all of this together or any combination of the above and you will start to realise what is happening.

There is no bad news. There is no disaster pending. The BoD are not incompetent nor do they control the sp. Tim and John are not brainless buffoons but highly regarded within their own field.
Get some perspective peeps. We know it is a slow burner and will continue to be unless something drops in from left field.
Traders will trade and manipulate, Investors will drum their fingers. It was ever thus.

MMs keeping a very tight spread even on a slight dip in order to disguise buys/sells. Back up now with same tight spread and misinformation. Don’t buy into the misinformation. This will be a one way ticket soon enough. Just my opinion.

Yep you are correct Basser - there was a 3k share trade cancelled from yesterday put through this morning. Stinks of manipulation and cheap orders being filled to the detriment of the sp

Great board over the weekend and this morning. Just picking up while on holiday so thanks to all.
I think this mornings news was a bit unanticipated by the market - a small spike ensued but quickly back to last weeks order filling routine at these levels. It all remains very positive IMO and the science and the data will do the talking. We don’t need a salesman in a kipper tie with matching gold necklace and bracelet to sell this. The data will provide the necessary impetuous.
Keep hold of those golden tickets- we are slowly trundling towards the launch pad.

It’s done an about turn like it did earlier this week. Just normal mm trading - sometimes this can be supported by tag teams on chatboards who like to goad, making up their own narrative to pick arguments in order to disrupt the board.
Glad it doesn’t happen here though.
