Whatever GSK/Sierra do with SRA737 from here it should have a material effect on our sp. The milestone payments and future royalties for 737 alone more than cover our current market cap meaning everything else would be worthless. Obviously, that would be nonsense with everything else that is progressing even if you remove the speculation of a T/O.
Sit on those hands - we have a winner.

Very true. Legals still need to do their work though in order to make the necessary arrangements to ratify the deal. It will be interesting to see whether GSK want to take full control of SRA737 asap or leave it with Sierra. Either way, milestones should top up the coffers.
Sierra track record to date has been appalling.

The result could be made known very quickly. There will be a lot of proxy votes and major shareholders will always vote. So we could know tonight or tomorrow.
On the assumption that it is voted for then SRA737 will become a GSK licence in all but name pending the legals etc: This will take time but it doesn't prevent behind the scenes discussions. Who knows, they may already have taken place.
I have also found it a bit odd that Sareum didn't go for a placing shortly after consolidation. Although we are ok at the moment I would say that there is always room for another £10m or so. Makes me think they are either waiting for a higher sp or, they know where they will get cash from.
Very interesting times. I see no downside barring an out and out disaster, but I do see plenty of scenarios that could play out - all of which are positive. GSK taking centre stage IMO.
I could be wide of the mark with my thinking but this remains a stonking buy.

While we are getting revved up here just consider what we have and what may be coming….all for the low market cap of circa £135m.

Nothing has changed, nothing is wrong until we hear otherwise. Better value as it is cheaper.

Still some way to go before we are all comfortable though. One thing is for sure. The market knows in advance when news is due (I politely refer to it as market intelligence). The sp will move up quickly ahead of any RNS so we will all know when it is due to drop.

Speaking with someone who is well versed in takeovers their opinion of the change of detail to “England” for Dr Tim Mitchell was quite ambiguous. On one hand it could mean nothing but in the other hand this would be the sort of detail a corporate lawyer would demand during a takeover process in order to absolutely detail that everything relates to Dr Tim Mitchell in England and nowhere else (in case there are more with the same name in UK). It is quite common with large companies.
I have no idea whether this is the case here so take the information in the spirit it is given. Just adding in a different dimension

Actually DeAar you make a very interesting point in relation to conspiracies. I don't think that there are "conspiracies" to use your terminology. I do know for a fact though that there are several investment clubs/Groups who take positions and post accordingly (whether to ramp or deramp) with several posters all appearing at once across their selected trades. I would imagine with all of your knowledge you will also have come across such groups.
I'll get you a Koolaid if your target price is met.

Yes of course I will. Also, I was not necessarily referring to you but if the cap fits etc There are plenty of traders here with short term agendas as well as brokers looking for cheap shares ahead of any news. We have all been around long enough to know how it works.
As a further point, all the negativity appears to arrive simultaneously which heightens suspicions. Personally I couldn't give two hoots if people make money trading or otherwise. My position is clear as is my timelines posted earlier today.
As for stop losses well, implement them at your own peril. They will be taken out for sure. Why plan to lose money when you could average down. Nothing has changed with Sareum and it is still as viable at £1.75 as it was at £2.25.
I find negative posters to be ultra defensive and attempt to rubbish anyone or any information that counters their negativity. Works both ways.
Charts are irrelevant when news drops and can't measure sentiment adverse or positive. You know that. If it was that simple we would all win and there wouldn't be a market.

Strong buy for me and anything under 2.1p will be bought into. Topped up twice in past week - just for clarity.

A lot can get lost in translation. The half yearly report states the following:
"The CTA is expected to be filed during mid 2022"
"Planning for the first clinical studyis underway and the trial is expected to begin in H2 2022 - subject to CTA approval and drug product supply"
So there is a bit of wriggle room but not much and I would expect the CTA filing to be publicised due to its relevance. CTA approval is out of Sareums hands although if the capsule manufacturing is on schedule we should be fine as no delays or problems have been reported thus far.
On top of this, we then have Sierra shareholders voting for the GSK buy out at the end of this month.
Sareum is now in quite a pivotal period

Hi HBD and SCH. I subscribe to both of your posts logic especially SCH's point in relation to SRA737 valuation. Sareum, like Sierra, will continue to be run independently and to report as and when there is something to report irrespective of any NDA or proposal tabled. In fact, they have both a legal and moral duty to do that for their respective shareholders. I don't see the radio silence as significant other than Sareum are not ready to release anything yet.
As and when GSK get the nod from Sierra shareholders this month, then it becomes "game on" in my view. Not long before the Sierra shareholder vote but in the meantime Sareum will continue to plough its own furrow.
