Mokash. Its just mms movement. The spread has been very tight in recent months. It is a deliberate ploy in order to distort or hide buys and sells from investors. This latest rise is a sudden jump and now a trickle down to give the impression of a falling sp. A reversal of what would normally happen.
@Just4fun - you could be right but lets see what any RNS might contain. No predictions from me though. We can only deal with what is in front of us.

Nobody said it was Kat - I seem to recall the gleeful negativity of a few on here when the sp drifted. Just nice to see it rise for once - especially when we all agree that some form of news is due

Typical piece of reporting that is designed to scare others into selling. Seen it so many times before. Go with your own gut feel and research. Some of that article is disingenuous.

I get your point HBD but whatever he put out it would still be subject to misinterpretation and further speculation. Not too long to wait hopefully. Frustrating for everyone

The way it was put to me was that CTA have quite a backlog. No suggestion of any **** up. More about CTA meeting their targets by having minor queries in order to extend their response period by a further 30 days

Make of this what you will but I am being reliably informed from a good source that CTA have a significant backlog and are using minor queries as a further reason for delaying applications by a further 30 days beyond the 60 days.
So there may not be anything brewing (I hope there is). It may just be straightforward delay.

An interesting comparison would be GGP whos share price has declined from 38p to todays current price of 7.4p. They have not consolidated but the decline is even greater than that of Sareum. Also check Amazon, GSK and Rock shares to name but a few.
I think Consolidation is a bit of a Red Herring when it comes to finding reasons for a drop. I still think Sareum would be at this level in "old money" terms

Part of the issue here is that the "broader range of investors" pay the likes of PH for advice etc: They are also not going to pay top dollar for a larger investment that a lot of smaller holders are not prepared to fork out for. They will place larger orders at £1.50 say and it will take the price lower to fill those orders. Rinse and repeat despite PH also having a target price of just over £3. I do not think that consolidation is to blame for the current malaise and that the lack of news on progress is allowing larger investors to take advantage. We are seeing smaller investors squeezed out of this share and the market in general.

Do you honestly think the sp would not be around this level even before consolidation? With or without consolidation this would be at a depressed level of trading due to the same news and market conditions. It was even on the slide before consolidation. The difference is that there are only 68m shares in circulation so that when demand does kick in this will rise much more quickly than if there were 3.5bn shares being traded. It is what it is.

The paucity of news chokes us yet again and the market makers make their market and the Traders trade up/down. Market conditions are poor and a lot of investors across the board are nursing paper losses. It gets tedious when most of us believers here are waiting for a sign that all is well.

This is all for an existing market cap of £95.2m.
£2 per share gives a value of £136m
£2.5 per share gives a value of £170m
£3 per share gives a value of £204m
£4 per share gives a value of £272m
£5 per share gives a value of £340m - you get the drift. So put into your head a nominal value of a license deal for 1801 psoriasis from the pipeline information along with the possibility of multiple licenses for 1801 over time.
Add in a nominal value for 1802 progression and a license deal in cancer(s)
Add in the reassignment value of SRA737.
Whether you feel there is a buyout or not, this can also be factored in a similar way.
For me, this share is well undervalued even if only one of the points above come to fruition. I have no idea of the timelines involved other than my own gut feel. This is not investment advice but merely making the point that once all of the hyperbole and negativity is stripped away we are left with the above facts as they currently stand. No share is risk free and Sareum is no exception to the rule.

Seems pretty flat and the sp has been choked whilst mms fill low priced orders. Soft signal this week has been no news- we will soon know when that changes.

I agree that the word "hope" provides Sareum with wriggle room but it does not translate into "The application has failed". As for preparing in advance, I see your logic, but I have never had to fill one out, but I would imagine it to be quite detailed.
As HBD says, why continue with the process of capsule production and quality controls if it isn't happening? I sense your frustration but just have a beer! It is Poets day after all.

Probably as disappointed as the rest of us at the lack of overall progress.
It does give the opportunity to re-license, but I also wonder whether Sareum would think of raising funds to buy CPF out and then own SRA737 completely.
Despite GSK handing it back I do not think we have seen the last of GSK with regards to Sareum. I have no evidence to support that comment just my own gut feel

I would agree Colbalt - If I remember correctly our HNWI's gradually came on board after an Edison note/presentation. Might not be the case this time around but there does appear to be growing optimism being reported upon. The message may just get through
