I don’t think anybody objects to pragmatism Warty. It is a fact that Sareum is in a state of limbo. Whichever direction they take will likely also require cash injection or a deal or a white knight investment. The market knows this and so do the traders on this board and elsewhere.

The pragmatism is fine but not the vitriol that takes place regularly here. Lots of negative conspiracies aimed at BoD and Sp in particular without any shred of evidence is

not pragmatism. It is just personal insults.

Like others here, I will ride this out until I hear that our science has failed - to date it hasn’t as far as we know.

My comments are for balance as the personal vitriol is not backed up by any evidence at all and is just a nasty attempt to sow disillusionment.

The “We will vote them out Brigade” “Improve the SP or else Brigade” and the “I am going to have a go Brigade” should put up or shut up. So what is it to be?

Potnak - if the trial starts in January for a period of 16 weeks and it completes in May/June then surely we would receive a completion notification via RNS along with a short summary. Accepting that it may well take a further 6 weeks for data crunching where do you get the End of October timeline from before we hear anything? Also, why wouldn’t we receive an update on the AI collaboration? Are you sure your trader instincts haven’t taken hold of you again?

I touched on it yesterday Potnak. JR stated that they are in the process of obtaining quotes from a few CRO's - they have a few in. JR also stated that he would like to think that they could get going by the end of this calendar year but it wasn't as simple as just picking up the phone and placing an order. He also stated that new trial slots are often shut down ahead of the Festive period although existing trials continue over that period. After a bit of cautious deliberation he stated that he expected the trial to commence in the New Year. January looks likely

Depends what is meant by short term Mike. We may get something from the AI collaboration which is highly encouraging, leading Sareum into pre-clinical trials. 1802 could be snapped up as could 737. Personally, 1801 delay apart, I thought the IM was quite accurate with nobody wishing to overstate things. JR stated he wanted 1801 to start before end of this calendar year but was dubious and opted for January 2026. It is clear that Neuro-inflammatory diseases provide an opportunity for Sareum to develop their science into a huge area of unmet needs.

I didn't perceive that Sareum were kicking the can down the road for the sake of the BoD salaries and their pensions. That is just nonsense. Still no CEO required.

Provided the science remains good then so do I. Have not sold and won't be selling going forwards. We are a good way down the developmental road and on a broader front with CNS being examined in great detail. Still all to play for. As for the naysayers, they should follow the court case going on where the plaintiff is suing for "Failure to protect him from himself" - can't make it up but is a similar approach to some on here who can't take ownership of their own decisions. Weird!

On a broader note, I hope that all those posters that posted detrimental remarks about the BoD tipping off family and friends to sell shares should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves. I hope somebody did report to the FCA as it will provide an answer. Not much of a tip was it? Especially with the Scientific knowledge that they held at the time. I doubt whether any of those said posters have the integrity within them to apologise for those remarks. I also think that some on here like to think they would make a good candidate for the vacant CEO position. Effing clueless.

You are correct Mike - the science remains good and the doom mongers were trading. Best of luck to them I say. Their narrative has just come unstuck though.

Translational studies in 1802 completed and likely to be seeking partnership - pity 1801 has gone sideways for a while. But the collaboration with AI is still running. There could yet be some pleasant surprises in store.

RNS says it all and 1801 does not seem to be at fault. Can we now stop all the negative speculation and doom mongering. Follow the news

I'm not venting Katstrangler - merely countering some of the rubbish posted on here for whatever reason or personal gain. I think there have been about 5 different Armageddon scenarios painted on here and all of them without updated news or commentary. Traders dream of course! We just have to wait. One of those Armageddon theories may well prove right - no point in guessing which one. No doubt that there will be further delay and a cash requirement. I will continue to follow the news before deciding anything.

Mike. I understand how it currently works as do most if not all on here. My point is that we all press a buy or sell button which can be recorded accurately alongside the trade data. I view it as a MM lever to assist control.

@Katstrangler - we can all guess as we often have to. We shouldn't have to though if the market was to be as "honest and open" as you expect BoDs to be.

Nav-Mike provides regular sp commentary. Often noting that buys/sell cannot be differentiated. In this modern age of technology, you have to wonder why the data is often so inaccurate. Obviously, it aids obfuscation and allows MM's to manipulate especially when the spread is increased and held. If it was an honest and orderly market then the Buy/Sell data would be accurate. Very easy to do. Just ask yourselves why they don't do it. I am open to any alternative view so fire away.

Traders are different to MM spivs Katstrangler. There is no problem with trading and a few on here do it. Personally, I don't. I have mentioned previously that shorters are guaranteed buyers, traders maybe not so. The spivs work for Companies in the City all of whom have business models and need to make profits in order to pay staff their vast bonuses. They are far from being professional and even handed.

Everyone waiting with trepidation. Meanwhile the spivs are ensuring they profit either way. Taking it down and buying cheap and ready to drop further on bad news. Good news will see a quick climb with purchased cheap shares then being offered out at a higher premium.

Potnak - the Nomad will have approved and signed off the RNS and everything was handled correctly as far as I can tell. The Nomad is in a similar position to shareholders inasmuch as they cannot force Sareum into making uncorroborated statements. This would be misleading. The situation is clear to all - Sareum is in Limbo until the facts of the matter are unravelled and reported

Very clear Damion and your view is respected even if not agreed with by some. All of us here have an agenda of some description and post views in support of that.

The BoD were absolutely correct in informing the market of the halt to the trial immediately after consultation. It seems to me that they are confident that they can initiate another trial asap. Meanwhile speculation and disagreement will fill the subsequent information vacuum.

If ever there was a case for following the news - this is it.

Very quiet here given the massive potential. I have been here many years and - after Trump spun the wheel again over the weekend - feel more than ever that a major re-rate is on the cards. Market cap is exceptionally low (albeit we are/were a minnow) but risk/reward ratio makes this a compelling buy at these levels. All in my opinion of course.
