Morning all, on this lovely Sunday morning.
I'd been interested in how some think the sp will evolve on divi announcement and post divi pay out.
I have a roughly 50/50 split between trading and share ISA accounts.
Paying 45% on my trading holding is something I would like to avoid, therefore I was planning on selling if the sp resets to near the divi value and pay the CGT instead. The savings are huge.
My concern is that, I would like to repurchase my trading holding and have not got previous experience to judge where the sp will go.
Thoughts greatly appreciated.

Its a pure meritocracy where people achieve because of who they are, not what they are :-)

The sense of anticipation regarding what is about to be realised is palpable.
It's been said many times on here, but the likes of Tilly et al have undoubtedly aided many PIs' on here edging towards, what for some, are life changing gains.
I'd just like to thank you all for displaying such humanity and kindness whilst being the targets of such vitriol, especially over the last few months.

According to longtimelosers logic, my classic Jag (that I thought had increased massively in value over the last twelve years), isn't worth what I thought. Its not creating any significant income so I guess it must be worthless. Anyone take it off my hands for fifty quid?

An investment strategy requiring one to do the complete opposite of what tms publicly states would pay dividends (pun intended) I'm sure.
We all remember the " War And Peace" list of his wrong calls.

I've noticed the same characters appear on the same "daily winners" forums and start to make claims regarding how long and how much they've invested, and make grandiose claims with regard to where the sp is going. Then, at some point, they appear collectively to start deramping. They're characters that we regularly saw on here that have recently "invested in LEK and ABDX.

Don't base buying in on the words of a poster on here. You're more likely to get suckered. Many have a habit of retrospectively declaring their investment and keep talking the share up. In reality, they have noted the days best performers and try to keep the inertia going to make a margin on a sentiment driven sp.
Not saying this is a bad investment, just dyor. :-)

Really great news, but I genuinely feel for those that have sold off the back of the doubt spread by the likes of tms et al who have stolen individuals hopes and dreams.

Who knows if TMS increased his short. What he posts and what he actually does or believes have little relationship.

I really don't care.
I'm not here to trade, sp is irrelevant to me.
I'm here for the growth and asset realisation of the company, the bull that's spread to effect sentiment and therefore sp has nothing to do with the fundamentals.

Just got in to see the unexpected rise in the sp.
Personally I'm no more, or less, happy.
The sp was getting so ridiculously low I was toying with the idea of buying more, with the rise(albeit moderate in cash terms) it's making it easier just to hold.
The fundamentals haven't change, just the waxing and waning of the de-rampers' trying to unsettle PIs'.
Actually, the fundamentals have changed, SIGNIFICANTLY :-):-);-)

Interesting that the Nov '19 volume was something like 3.2 billion shares whilst the drop this month is based around 130 million shares. This is being driven down by relatively low volume manipulation.
