I'm never brave enough to go for share price predictions. SP is often at the mercy of fickleness. Very boring i know but I'm here long term for the asset development

A reasonable RNS, considering where the market sits. However, signs that small cap miners are starting to see green shoots, at last!!!

Other's could take note of Albas approach.

Unfortunately no amount of enthusiasm and hyperbole by BT will sway investors. He's overplayed it too many times and because of this, physical definitive facts are the only thing that will cut the mustard.

I know it's not the consensus on online forums, but nearly all the long term investors I actually know in the flesh are very optimistic regarding an outcome in the next few months.

Datta ,In the grand scheme of things, the Gowling dispute is peanuts.

Datta, It could simply be that the "parties",(NN plus DS et al) are waiting for the rubber stamp on 13th December. It makes a considerable difference to the value in the ground.

Good of the bod to give us an early heads up. Seems all will be done and dusted in the next couple of months. The Hong Kong ref was a great pointer. Many of us knew D.S had other projects in the pipeline. BTW, Citic are Hong Kong based. NN must be creaming themselves at the prospect, especially as D.S facilitated such a great partnership with Rosgeo, no doubt that will be revisited. CS can receive his huge payday and have an extremely comfortable retirement, even Queeld will be happy :-)

I'm sympathetic to some of the neurosis displayed on this board, but if individuals can get to appreciate that current SP is no indicator of sale price. The SP is a product of sentiment, risk, and a company that has deliberately made itself sale ready in a sanction ridden country. The new China/Russia trading partnership has already met 2023 expectations, a recent report values the natural resources of Russia at $75 trillion, effectively making it the Richest country on the globe. This is why the Chinese are so keen, and unfortunately the West appear to have shot themselves in the foot with sanctions. Somebody mocked it yesterday ,but yes, the new Bushveld.

Jings, it won't be a miracle. In my opinion, D.S. is all over this. His Hong Kong contingent joining forces with NN, sounds like a successful outcome for shareholders, and for CS. The last few pieces are falling into place. Truly wish you a great outcome.

Fait point GM, and although I'm convinced that C.S. plays with a completely straight bat, I'm a realist. Whilst the rest of us depend on RNSs' and internet researching, there's another level of "in the know" in society. I'm not a conspiracy theorist, just accept there will always be those with an advantage, it's life :-)

Anyway, I think I've posted more today than the whole of the last month, time to give way to more constructive pursuits .

It's not that the S.P. doesn't matter at all, it's about context. Buffet and Monger, as young traders, were shocked at the disparity between market caps and true value and that sentiment drove more decisions of investors than tangible and measurable values. It was partly that focus that made them billionaires.

I guess it's why it's so easy to lose money in a bear market and so easy in a bull, nothing to do with true measurable value.

100% with you Beast. In fact why did Queeld even pursue the shares, they will be privy to where this is going. As you say, we could be wrong, but I feel for those that have sold today without fully digesting the bigger picture.

Hi GM, Back in the room now. In hindsight, your position regarding tax refunds may well be correct. However i still feel sale of concentrate is delayed due to the (hopefully) imminent resolution of tax burden. If the concentrate is also in demand from the further reaching asset sale contenders, it may nudge things along a little if the bod are in need of funds sooner.

All just my musings, apologies to all who are offended by my positivity, negativity, or neutrality. Hopefully nobody feels left out? ;-)

I don't remember the refunds being mentioned before the other company(can't remember their name) submitted an appeal. With regards cash burn, a sizeable chunk went into the subsids and may still be there, so available funds for Eurasia don't include all totals.

Either way, Eurasia have sizeable funds on the horizon.

I'm also "guessing" that the concentrate will be sold as soon as the case later this month is formally finalised. The prohibitive tax regime that has been overturned is probably the reason we resorted only to stripping.

So tax refund and concentrate sale proceeds soon to be realised "hopefully" . Then we see the panic subside ;-)

Surely we get the tax refund once the latest hearing is done and dusted, which is later this month? Which, dare i say it, "appears" to be a done deal. Happy days.

Not sure how my suggestion that their appears to be only two buyers is putting a positive spin on things as Hopeso suggests. Surely a positive spin would be there are lots of buyers? Keep searching for negatives, I'm sitting tight and trusting the experts.

I really feel that there's lots trying to drive this down whilst loading up. It's as if no investors actually do any research.

I wouldn't be quite so apocalyptic regarding the sale process. The "several parties" at the table appears to have been whittled down to two, a naturally evolving situation in a sale process. The bod are not idiots, they will be well aware of the brinkmanship element to such a large sale. This is coming to a conclusion. The decision for investors is to either trust in the board to get this over the line, or succumb to the doubt that understandably wells up in this situations and cut one's loses and run. Over the years Christian and Dimitry have shown themselves to be extremely capable and successful individuals, I'm continuing to trust in their abilities. I could be wrong, only time will tell.

Read the RNS earlier, disappointing that it wasn't news of sale agreed, but all other detail roughly as expected. Surprised at the s.p drop, but heyho :-)

Not completely sure about the panic around cashflow, lots of options there if required. The concentrate is still awaiting sale, we have individual investors with lots of skin in the game, can't remember if we've yet to receive the not insignificant tax refunds, the Sinosteel agreement, and several other avenues. The sale isn't going to be allowed to fail due to cash flow when one considers cash burn against potential asset value.

I've said before that the comment "very hopeful this year" gave an indication of time frames and I'm still expecting news by spring.
