Started well in the middle of a logistical nightmare.. https://www.reuters.com/article/coal-mozambique/interview-ncondezi-to-export-10-mln-t-yr-mozambique-coal-idINLDE65113K20100602 But then .. ‘“During 2014, as a result of the continued decline in global thermal coal prices and the commercial deal with EDM, Ncondezi wrote down the value of its coal asset by US$31.8 million. The carrying value of the coal asset now reflects the value of the coal resource that will supply the Ncondezi 300MW power station.” And now .. In 2010 this was just a pipe dream ..and now the final part completes in tandem with OUR project.. Completed by CMEC .. no less. http://www.mozambiqueminingjournal.com/tete-province-mozambique-will-four-railways/ Remember , even at 3600mw x2 our plant barely requires 5% of the resource. Which is ours.. All ours. That’s an awful lot of coal to leave in the ground when you have an already operating mine.. and many available channels to get it out of Tete .. If Ncondezi were to buy that resource again today .. then do we think it would be the price we paid 10 years ago in an almost inaccessible (at the time) region compared with 2018 Mozambique and it’s 20 fold improved infrastructure? Tax cuts and more Majors than we can name? I say it every Sunday but BIG week ahead chaps.. GLA.
Wow.. 14 boreholes drilled in villages within the Tete province. -- Four students completed their Master's degree in Mining Engineering at Coimbra University benefiting from a full bursary from Ncondezi. A 4x4 ambulance was purchased to assist villagers in more remote areas. -- Ncondezi built a new primary school at Waenera village. -- Upgrading of the Mameme clinic and the construction of a new maternity wing. -- An Agricultural Project based on conservation farming. This included the villages of Catabua and Canjedza as an initial model. The objective being a platform to educate the local communities in all aspects of crop husbandry using their own resources. ** In addition to the lower proposed tariff envelope, the Project is also expected to significantly benefit Mozambique through tax receipts and royalties over the life of the Project which are estimated to be between US$1.1 to 1.4 billion. This is in addition to local skills development and thousands of jobs during construction and hundreds of jobs during operation, as well as the economic multiplier effect of providing stable cost effective power to the north of Mozambique. O.N. Very On.
Great stuff CF .. As we always said, Alstom takeover was key here. Silk road was a God send to GE at the very moment Alstom purchase started to look toppy. Cmec carrying through Xi s vision and GE desperately needing a market . Match made in heaven. Landing us with x2 partners for our project which couldn’t be more ‘them’. "The biggest challenge we face continues to be working through the turnaround of our power business,” Chief Executive Officer John Flannery said Friday on a conference call with analysts." O.N.
Pay off the mortgage or spend the money on many reasonably priced items like those sweatpants on the right hand side for a giveaway £750 :))) https://www.bally.co.uk/en_gb/woman/ready-to-wear/jeans-and-trousers/ Great weekend all.
The 2x200k are buys .. as are EVERYTHING around them!! O.N.
Agreed the Ruyi 51% is sticky as hell .. and I couldn’t think of a better advert for the remaining (already tight) free float. Ruyi can take more too ..but not lower than 3.5p as per takeover code.
Just look at what you are selling .. A Company which floated 4 years ago with the equivalent of it’s Mcap in debt .. An awful start in which as soon as we floated, the High Street really started to wobble M&S,Topshop, ect. As a result our $100m turnover projections as a base start took a hammering. (Although we are now hitting $65-70m in a very transitional period) In 2016 All the debt was written off with a small down payment and the bank was given an 8% holding (Which you can bet your ass is the stickiest money in Town now!) Then came BOD playing musical chairs and a couple of placings in between takes us to 2017.. We are breaking even but not setting the world alight but we use placing funds to buy the Ethiopian plant outright which we owned half of .. I have already posted this article but it needs to be read .. Ethiopia is the most recent recipient of the Chinese magic money stick and as a result it is no longer the landlocked logistical nightmare it once was.. It is the new Shadadong province! https://www.businessoffashion.com/articles/global-currents/one-belt-one-road-optimistic-fantasy-or-chinas-biggest-fashion-opportunity-yet This article says it all doesn’t it? You can see why Ruyi suddenly want to close this deal quickly all of a sudden with Trump really digging his tariff heels in! So they have already given us $3.2m and yep we have another $13m to come but let’s look beyond that. Yes we have 100% dilution to come also but we need to look even beyond that .. Ruyi are OWNERS of Bagir now. They are going to have our plant running at full capacity churning out every contract they throw at us ... across most of their brands. We also have Ethiopia truly opening up for business as the same time so we are in the right spot at the right time with the right guys so think of all those external sub contacts from brands who are 2 steps behind us. If Ruyi buy Topshop then it’s safe to say we’ll do well out of it too. https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/philip-green-plots-sell-out-to-chinese-textiles-giant-shandong-ruyi-6rfr693vw The share issue IS a tricky one (the cash in bank will offset a lot of the pain though) but tbf we haven’t seen the Ruyi MASTERPLAN yet . And it’s that which I can’t wait to see. Especially when I read stuff like this.. https://fashionunited.com/news/business/secoo-announces-strategic-partnership-with-ruyi-group/2018071722388 The new ASOS anyone? Bagr cheap yesterday, cheap today, cheap tomorrow . Don’t get mugged.
I think the JDA has been signed and the lengthy RNS is currently being written.. Tomorrow or Monday. The retweet by GE is not a mistake they would make. O.N GLA
Now that’s what I call a tweet!! :) Release the beast Hanno.
Hoping for another scorcher .. GLA
Trading update coming ? We love a 3 oclocker here ! ;))
Dammit Hinkais .. you beat me to the Press comment!! ;)))
Bagir already turnover $60-70m PA and break even.. Hell, we IPO’d FOUR years ago at 50m+ mcap.. We already employ 400 at our Ethiopian plant alone. This investment is only the start of Ruyi here. They already own Aquascutum,Bally,Renown and are currently bidding for Topshop etc.. Currently using ALL the cotton in Arkansas.. Wait til they start dropping those contracts 1 by 1 onto their NEW company (us!!) This is DAY 1 of Bagir. Forget what came before. Good luck all
No placing No speeding ticket 50% free float ii WILL want a slice of a company controlled by Ruyi This is only the START of Ruyi investment here. Ruyi will throw us contract upon contract Look at what they own already. (They are going to buy Philip Greens Arcadia) Good luck all.
ANOTHER 1.6m and rest of balance by 31 Aug. We are Ruyi now. Well played boys and well held. Hinkais,Tony etc.
Boom... fkin have that!
Point? Look at the free float and think of how tighter it will be when ii want a piece of a company 54% owned by Ruyi. I am in another share whose deal is only going through now after the initial approach in OCTOBER.. These things do drag on .. Ruyi have likely ran out of Directors to send to Bagir given their acquisition spree lately. We get to keep 1.6m $ in worst case scenario. If we landed a 1.6m order this would go through the roof. Free money. Patience. They updated 8 weeks ago ffs. Stop chasing shit.
Quality posts CF ... Love the point about the AFC .. Don’t think they don’t have influence either.. They joined the party in our darkest days. Great timing. Those who know .. know. Anyone can ring mates. Get me? Release the beast Hanno / Banjo ;))
I think Stevens comment earlier would sent Lurkys blood pressure sky high.. In Lurkers reply to Gods yesterday I could almost hear him tearing his hair out :) I would love a free carry Steven btw and the opportunity to load our coal onto the Nacala railway as per the Vale and the ex Tinto resources . Good luck all big days ahead.
