I have thought this too Splatted and they've had a good 4 month to manifest .. Still, As long as we get genuine derampers and not attention seekers which people get mixed up ... A decent deramper will be as researched as us and will pull bits of research out of the blue and make you think "where the fk did they get that?! .. So we may get a visit from the KIBO waaaambulance but other than that we have the biggest deal on Aim and re-rate in progress.

Our Partners motivation to close as much as us has been confirmed as has the start of our weight gain.A 40m mcap pre binding is fair value yet we are nowhere near that and we are getting ever near those reimbursement of costs which would see us with 40m + cash in bank after binding . This is going to gain serious weight over next 8 weeks til the acceptance of the tariff envelope which is the final piece of due dil for GE/CMEC . Then lets INK final ownership percentages or asset purchases (pretty sure they are already being discussed but the end of DD means written offer time before we go final binding) i can see a 85-15 split but as CF says if you get that much you may as well go for the full cake because ask yourselves .. is it impossible that our Trillion dollar vehicle bedfellows may just ask for an extra 20% each ? I don't . I think it's highly likely ;)) Have a great weekend All .

They could only get about 30% of issue at the very most on open market before they have to start tempting some very large holders to sell to them directly .. Its (as Lurker says ) easier to just buy the asset.

It's the asset they will buy outright not the company (which on sale of asset will likely become an empty shell for someone else) as per now the deal is for 60% of the asset NOT the company .. The buyout option is up for discussion BUT there is zero chance of us retaining our 40% by financial close. (1) look at the money we are in bed with (2) look at the history of our Partners previous deals ... The sweaty old Aimie holding 40% is an absolute non-starter.

SEP was 25m up front with another 35m on Financial Close this however was based on uncombined model with only ONE partner without an ift take agreement for the coal .. As you know we are now in bed with a 112bn mcap and the Chinese State.It would be nice to think after an unsolicited offer this would mean more moolah..Nai/Dyor.

We need the extra information on the bids by yesterday to finish our complete financial model by the end of May to submit an improved tariff envelope by June end which on acceptance triggers the completion of due dil leading to the binding fireworks at end of July..... Somewhere inbetween we will get a sniff of final percentages and reimbursment of costs which will be very good days here but as per the rns it all hinges on EDM accepting the new envelope but our new costings should see to that as it's clear Hanno wants to put in fantastic price.... I don't think the 23rd being met is a particularly huge driver here as we thought the same about the 28th of Feb and i feel Hanno has probably given us our news fix for now .. *PS i want to be wrong*
