Hi Neeew. Good average and good strategy to hold for the recovery. Similarly would like positive discussions and ceasefire to be agreed over the weekend where the two parties are meeting two times I believe. Let’s see what happens.
Hi Rick - Agree with the points made regarding the hunt for stop losses and people exiting due to not wanting to hold over the weekend. That is something I had considered, however didn’t realise the hunt for stop losses would be so brutal. That being said it would be my advice not to keep stop losses on this stock due to the current volatility. Good point regarding the dividends. A few of them coming through should help with the de- risk . I’m not too concerned but from the communication I’ve seen on here and received myself from EVR, I believe the dividend is still going ahead which is a positive but it wouldn’t upset me if this changed for any positive impact on the business.
Fair view, appreciate the discussion.
Thanks for the response matchu… in terms of your longer timeframe what are you thinking? Yes , I appreciate the geopolitical risks, however in terms of that my thinking is that this cannot go on for too much longer. Either one side will have to give in to certain demands but sooner rather than later (ceasefire or regardless) this must end and hence my xmas timeframe. That being said if it takes longer then so be it, however the bottom line message is people must appreciate the business this company does outside of Russia as well as be patient for the recovery.
Just wanted to put my thoughts out there, hold just under 55k shares , started buying at £1.35 so not as high average as some but a significant amount invested. Had the opportunity to exit somewhat close to breakeven today and the other day but chose not to for the reason that I believe this will be £2.50+ by xmas time. Not throwing random unrealistic dates out there but that should give enough time for things to pan out and for the business to get back on track again. Happy to take other peoples thoughts but will say the drop between 3.05pm and 3.20pm was shocking to say the least and was not expected. I knew it would pullback slightly but was hoping for a 85p finish at least. Anyways this was my thoughts worded on paper, happy to engage in discussion.
It’s not being delisted it’s just dropped out of FTSE100 because of reduced market cap. You can still buy…
I read in the RNS you have to opt to receive the dividend in pounds ? Or would this be automatic through a U.K. broker ? Thanks
Where do you reckon this has potential to run to in the upcoming week? 12p?
@swampmonster - Great for everyone else to get in at these bargain prices except the long termers who bought at the beginning of the year Jan/Feb at well over around 34-37p region , then it is depressing to see this around this price.
Did it give a timeframe for that 95p target ?thanks
Agreed but it’ll fall below 20p imo and I’ll keep an eye on it but believe may be able to recoup losses elsewhere.
7k loss & out... will keep an eye out to get back in if it goes lower... good luck everyone though, in hindsight wasn’t a good buy around 32p but was optimistic that results would have taken it closer to 40p.
What do people think in terms of timeframe for £2 target ... end of year ?
@Tones7777 - do you still hold all your shares as I note you had a considerable amount invested or have you sold some? Thanks.
Bought in yesterday , looks like it could be a good year for the company . I can see initial target people are aiming for is 40p+ as per the posts and that article that was submitted a few days ago. Good luck.
RNS confirms Nigel sold a few to settle some tax liabilities but without the downward pressure share price should start moving up now.
Are guzzler and the other long termers still here? Oh the days when this use to be over 3p and closer to 4
Hey guys , just wanted opinion on the best way to purchase £50k worth of stock . Would it be best splitting it into £10 chunks and seeing what live price I got or is it best calling your trading platform and asking them what price they can get for the full £50k worth. Last option would be to set a purchase order just above the live price and that way it should get fulfilled? Comments welcome
https://simplywall.st/stocks/gb/materials/aim-caml/central-asia-metals-shares/news/is-central-asia-metals-plc-loncaml-trading-at-a-43-discount - Article also backs up the fact that our share price is considerably low and plenty of room for growth
Oh - if you don’t mind me asking what was the amount of the loss ? Just for perspective as to others who might be wanting to get out but still considering it...
