Yes, although I think a weekend tweet is coming, I believe it will still be to restart some sort of military action against Iran.

I understand your reasoning, however I don’t think he will lift the blockade at all, purely because he’s too invested in a win now & lifting it hands full control back to Iran , allows them to continue charging a toll as the illegal war will still be on , and the rest of the issues not agreed on.

We have to remember, the Strait isn’t why this war started. It started because America wasn’t getting what they wanted from Iran in terms of acceptable terms for not building a nuclear weapon. HOWEVER, now Iran has understood that they can leverage the Strait and pinch America, they will not be letting it go anytime soon.

Also, this has now put them in a better negotiating position which Trump won’t like. America has tried military which didn’t work , and then ceasefire which renewed on their own accord , and now despite aggression here and there they haven’t restarted the war again.

Ultimately, America & Trump have lost all their cards, Iran is in a stronger position negotiating wise and Trumps ego will not let them get more control , money & relationships.

IMO , the only next step for Trump is to push on with aggression, he has been backed in a corner by his own actions, & lifting the blockade won’t give him the out. The pressure is on with the elections coming up as well…

I expect BP to catch up a bit today , been nearly a full week of elevated oil prices. It’ll make up the dividend drop + potentially more and then I believe should rise next week as well… also, have a sneaky feeling Trump is about to do something crazy next week

Yup, well oil price is rising so if it continues and above 105/110+ etc then surely BP will have to rise with it…

Sorry just seen your second post. Yup , exactly! The oil prices (Brent & WTI crude) is not reflected in the current price at all.

Also it was recovering this morning 552+ and it’s now gone way down, even though the oil price has increased today? That’s the bit that’s not making sense to me…

Yes, that’s why I don’t understand because the war doesn’t look like it’s finishing anytime soon as well.

Also when oil was higher , the price was comfortably 580+, and now that oil has recovered the price is still acting like WTI crude oil is sat below 90?

So the dip created a dip but the increase in price hasn’t given strength back to the price again. IMO it’s undervalued…

Good news, oil also strong. This should rerate back to the 580+ region it was before the fake Axios headline , as oil is staying stable and will keep rising.

WTI crude is strong & currently 102… BP to catch up soon? Last time it was around here we were easily 575+

GBP gets announced around 9th June I believe but the dollar amount converted was 7-8p from memory per share.

Give it time. Now that oil is comfortably over 100, momentum will return to BP as well.

Last time WTI oil was around 100-105 BP was in the 580-600 range I believe…

Oil just gone above 100 - (WTI crude oil)

Zebbo - Yeah, it fell from much higher though around £5.80+ so now that Axios tweets have been proven false , hoping it can recover quickly

Anyone want to hazard a guess again?
