In early 2008, CJSC “Uzhuralzoloto" was declared a bankrupt. Officially this was due to restructuring of the assets, however “Eastern Gate Securities” which owned the debt of the company believed that such a step was taken in order not to repay the debt and intended to challenge the bankruptcy in court.

Why did everest back strukhov when they initially backed Pavel when they were called Cabs slevin in 2019

Rusty give me a chance,. If Pavel is guilty then it should be proved via due process not this debacle of robbing a man of eventually almost a years freedom before any charges have been made let alone tried in a court. Why has the Moscow prosecution services been so gung ho on keeping him incarcerated.

Rusty and others remember : There have been no charges laid against Pavel to date at the moment the authorities keep kicking that can down the road 9 months without a hearing and charges being laid. If Pavel is so obviusly guilty and the proof is there then get it over with, lay the charges and then a trial date as the sooner this is settled the better it is for POG. But the spurious accusations that got Putin's man and Stukhov's mate , the chair of Gazprom who strukhov owes $500 million. Akimov, to sign the complaint against Pavel show's its not really about a an above board property transaction, is it.

Off course it needs to be taken into account that strukov is a paragon of virtue and has never run down companies in order to take them over

Akimov chair of State owned Gazprom and banker to Putin, is a close friend of Strukhov and approved his loan. Akimov also personally signed the complaint against Pavel that led to his arrest, It doesn't take much to see something sinister is at work. As for Pavel's supposed crime.

Gold dragging the sp of pog up might see off Strukhov. He with tacit support from Akimov wanted POG on the cheap and try as they might to stifle any opposition by illegally incarcerating Pavel and lowering gold output to lower the sp even they will be stuffed if gold rises significantly as the sp will refuse to go lower and could even rise . Other innocent share holders may start to wake up as well.

Yes I agree about Assange.When Trump ran for president in 2016 Assange released the Podesta wiki leaks in the build up to the election. What those leaks revealed changed my whole view of western democracy and if the truth manages to become public knowledge then much of our history will need to be totally revised.

Now its obvious you feel Assange has been treated badly by western democracy and that in part is due to what the clinton / podesta leaks revealed . However it seems then you also agree that Pavel is being treated like a political prisoner from the days of state communism.
However comparing his treatment to that of Assange is a fatuous comment as in Russia Assange would now be dead and in the UK Pavel would be a free man until proven guilty, However I don't think this is common treatment in Russia Pavel has been singled out by links straight up to Putin who's banker Asimov approved the gazprom loan to Stukhov. It was Gazprom chairman Akimov who personally signed the complaint against Pavel. Can't you see that this is all a plot to get POG on the cheap by robbing the share holders of its true value. This goes right to the top in Russia coridors of power that's why Pavel has been incarcerated for six months with another three to endure without so much as a hearing let alone trial. This cabal of political crooks want to plunder Petropavlovsk and we will all lose out.

Just heard half hour ago Pavel given another three months I'm not sure of all the details but this is outrageous corruption and its purpose to get past the AGM without Pavel being a free man. No one in the UK would be treated like this. There's no sentence unless found guilty by trial. So far we haven't even had the hearing. What a scum hole, Russia has continued the crushing corrupt bureaucracy of Stalin and his Bolsheviks

I'm just wondering with the AGM due if there will be further jostling for board changes and from whom? I think Sova were favourable to the old board. Its all reaching a fever pitch. Pavel has seen out five days of his delayed hearing as he was told monday it would be within the next ten days.

I live on the south coast now and I'm trying to source timber fencing, Wickes, B&Q, Stamco and all the small independent wood yards are right out of stock. If this is the case for many commodities , i.e. a shortage in a time of ramped up money supply then inflation will follow. The suppliers I've spoken to all tell me prices of timber are shooting up

Despite our own shenanigans the major impetus is the price of gold which has gone into bull mode again the last week , take taht away and we will be down to around 20p and lower the gold price down to 1400 $ we are down into the the 14p range

I always felt the accusations of embezzlement didn't look good for future investors and although since last year gold has been the driver of the SP there is still a large element of self inflicted damage i.e. the forensic investigation. If Strukov is holding out hope to lower the SP to a level he would put an offer in then he needs this cloud of criminality and he needs Pavel out of the way we are also aproaching AGM time and who knows what will happen this year? If the forensic report and the very fair Russian legal system find no charge against Pavel before the agm then that could herald another shift on the board, It's not all plain sailing for strukov as he has a massive debt to settle with Gazprom. Who knows what the F will happen with this company

I appreciate we have different perspectives on the current BoD but looking at the annual graphs for gold and Pog the key date last year was the 17th July When gold skyrocketed from $1802 to $2005 in just 18 days Pog did exactly the same rising to a giddy 39p but started to fall before gold by several days then after another not so high declining peaks pog followed gold down. However on the 17th July pog stood at 28.3p and gold at $1802
Today pog stands at £25.6p andon the same date last year it was 26.5 however gold price on that day stood at $1735. So Pog was a penny up and gold around $100 lower this time last year

Trying to0 find an older message where it was explained to me how to read these Notification of Major Holdings. I can see different figures but I'm not sure whether its an acquisition or a disposal?

Why can't they be adapted for thick people like me with one of the two simple words Purchased or Sold. the rest would then fall into place
