I made a few gaffs yesterday. I thought when I announced I knew who the buyer was that it was exclusive information when in reality it was announced in the RNS 18/3/2020 . What a twat.

I agree with you freddie. Last year when it was announced that the plan was to sell a 31% stake for ten million because of the guarantee it seemed worth while after years of being a millstone. Now a year later its a gem and the guarantee looks almost silly now as it won't be called into play. I spoke to max at head office the other day and he we exuberant about getting rid of IRC. He likened it to under writing someones mortgage and getting nothing in return. The only problem with that analogy the property that took out the mortgage has just risen dramatically in price. Maybe Pavel valued it But seriously what is IRC worth at present if 31% is ten million that values IRC at aprox 35 million is that serious. Someone is going to get a 31 stake very cheaply. Why not just sell the 31% stake to the highest bidder? Someone is earmarked to pick up a fortune

And people thought Pavel was embezzling the company on a trump up property deal?

Do the directors have the right to sell IRC without a share vote

RNS saying IRC is going but where does the sale price of $10 million come into this. Also POG will be sold but not to strukov's daughters UCG?

As for wanting to speculate not witch hunt Sova for buying a 3% holding is perfectly natural in this present POG climate of lowered gold production in a rising gold price and a falling share price. I'd hardly call questioning Sova's motives a witchunt

Blimey there's a lot to respond to. I'll start with Assange (again) to prove I didn't deflect . But UDF was making a point that the west had treated Assange just as badly if no worse than Russia has treated Pavel and I never disagreed with him (see below). But his main point seemed to be that the west was just as bad as Russia. Well I can't remember any prominent public figure ever being poisoned , can you. If Pavel and POG mines were British no way would Pavel be 'banged up' the way he is now. And by that same token Assange had been Russian revealing corruption he would have been poisoned by now.
