We will need a ship buffer of stock and road haulage buffer of stock. In total I imagine this to be a very high number.

You can't have a 10,000 tonne or more ship sailing toward cote d'Ivoire on a hope or 20 trucks sitting on sitting in our mine site.

All of these questions need asking to understand the process.

Just think if Mali had signed that licence transfer on or before the end of the first quarter, their 12 month window to buy into Kodal would have been reduced to 10-11 months as the plant is not quite at full production yet, it is still notching up the speed.

Moving and handling large tonnages of materials is something I have a lot of experience of.

I did one contract with a government from docks and one of the small sites I was contracted on took an entire large haulage company and all of their subbies just a small one. What are the contract terms with the haulage company, random early shipments included?

What is the arrangement with the docks, truck to compound to ship or truck to dockside to ship? What are the details of this? Small random shipments allowed?

Then the stevedore, ours was self employed with our equipment, but what is the arrangement there, small random shipments at the start part of the contract?

Then insurance on the road and liability, it is a silica I believe, so do they want to start the insurance off now? Before the plant is fully viable.

And so on right down the line.

That amount of material will take a huge fleet of vehicles to move, if the plant isn't up to full speed they aren't on their main contract.

Painless also our market cap is not much above net assets and the true value of Nielle is not in that net asset value.

Contrast market cap to net assets of the shares often promoted on here.

For me I am only interested in that production figure once we hit it, and I mean 115,000 tonnes upwards, my attention will turn to exporting.

I expect us to hit that tonnage but we were given a time of around 4 to 8 weeks.

If an RNS lands meantime then it is a bonus.

Nobby, all Kodal are doing is bagging and stacking, no additional handling. Ultimately it will be interesting to see how the material is handled, all bagged seems like a lot of work, but it may degrade easily if handled multiple times loose, I am not familiar with that material.

Yes I agree I can only see the government signing at the optimum time for them not us. They will have a union guy on the ground around the plant you can be sure of it. Once the plant hits the upper range they may sign it before it hits the 125k because they will know they are in safe territory.

Why doesn't BP, Shell, Ganfeng and co snap up explorer parent company shares cheaper than JVs, buy outs etc?

Explorers are their lifeblood - really stupid comment to make for anyone in mining or oil investment.
