In reality the whole project is an absolute monster if you could fly over the lithium site and all of the gold areas the individual would be completely overwhelmed by the size of the projects and the monies involved.

A dose of reality has to be applied. Moving at a fast pace is relevant to the industry being discussed.

The downside I see here, which I suppose also is an upside, is because Kodal and Hainan are involved in this mine, the first lithium mine with this arrangement, with Steve's vast experience and the skilled Mali guys communicating, like Bernard said it looks like they may be tied up quite a bit assisting the government with adaptions to their rules for lithium.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the floor price in February or March.

Ijr Bernard could have explained in detail what was involved with getting the export permit and what Kodal had to do on their side to comply.

Many are writing comments as if it was just a formality piece of paper like a fishing permit or similar.

Mining is never like that. Kodal are ultra experienced so should comply with the majority of the rules, the Mali mining office is the newby, they will be looking for potential clashes between their rules and lithium to avoid future issues.

George Domicile dictates taxation, I think he would struggle to do his job and remain domiciled in Australia.

Checking the bags and paperwork for them, the road to the highway, checking transport, disaster recovery plans, even though Goulimani is travelling down the same road, Kodal will have to go through the full process. Environmental impacts the lot.

Investors aren't used to seeing a production cost per tonne which includes future capital costs divided across a current declared resource which decreases with every increase in resource and reduces if the material being mined reduces in value.

It includes the capital cost per tonne to put the land back as it was or how the Mali government want it.

Not sure about Steve's tax position, he previously had to sell some to pay tax on something similar to a benefit in kind scenario - so I would not put any weight on Steve selling a few of those.

We don't know each individual's tax position, domicile etc

Remember the issue of the Export Permit triggers all the regulations from the pads to the border (possibly further). So that would involve pre issue checks and ongoing checks and all of the lovely paperwork which goes with it, including the transport companies.

(Risk of stream and river contamination etc etc)

It isn't just like waiting for a fishing permit.
