Chatty, there is no payback with this deal, Hainan have bought in and are stumping up all of the money.
We will have to put some pennies away (from production) for the flotation plant as we will be funding 49% of that.

Once we get past the Hainan payment, get more drill rigs on site and get moving with Nielle goldfield we should get some additional value indicators on top of what we already have.

I recently saw a goldfield with an NPV of over 400m dollars, it would be ironic if two of our goldfields are worth more than our lithium and we have just been focused on lithium.

Short waits with a perceived deadline seem to be the most painful for investors, never get comfortable with them.

I thought we are waiting for companies to be set up, Hainan to go through the necessary regulatory process/approvals before we can set up the structure described in the finance RNS?
Or is Bernard going DMS, Hainan, alone or another if Hainan did not get the necessary approvals?

I see Niger have sent a squad into Mali and they claim to have killed 79 terrorists, they keep hiding over the borders.
The new country tactics are to stop the borders being used as a refuge when armies normally stop. I bet those terrorists got a shock when they continued after them.

Croq, agree it is possible, it is a massive project, everything which had to be completed by both parties from the announcement in January to the end of April looked like a big ask. Optimistic.
That said they are both experienced boards, Kodal and Hainan, I could not see the point of Hainan signing up to a long stop they would think is not achievable and so far there is no RNS to the contrary.

Chatty, I happened to be reading something today and saw a gold mine with an NPV of over 500m.
We own all of the gold fields soon to have 17m to invest in them on top of the lithium.
It would be ironic if the gold added more to our share price than the lithium.
Two of them are looking good so far.

Excluding Easter in Christian countries, there are 25 working days left until the long stop ends.
The payment of $100m should be received within that time period.
Getting closer still.

Clapa, understand your frustration, early on most of thought April, we looked at the job list and thought that the long stop was quite close to the time all of that work would take.

But you never know, Hainan must have thought it possible in that timeframe.

We need to know what we have first. We know there are 21 million tonnes in a jorc of lithium.
That is all we have a level of certainty on. Once in production that alone would elevate our share price.
However a massive mining company which turns over billions has backed the project with £82m of which over £15m is available to drill for more lithium within the mining licence area, they have not thrown that money in for no reason.
Then of course there are the Goldfields.
Until we know what we have nobody can value the peak.

Linconite, yes both parties must agree to move the long stop is my interpretation. Not if one party is dragging their feet.
You would like to think that Hainan are big and wise enough to set a sensible long stop date in the first place and not have to ask Kodal for an extension to the long stop.

Also what would be the point in depositing 7m dollars if it was not enforceable?

Amazing while we are waiting for something which takes a year, how time flies. Then we have an event which we know will take a few weeks, because we have a final date, and it seems to take forever.
Bit like being a child waiting for Christmas all over again.

It would be a little too soon after their share issue if it landed this week.
If it gets to the second week of April they cut the long stop a little too fine.
