Iodan if even for an instant it looks like it is opening on Monday morning at Fridays market close +£1.88. At least the spreadbetters and shorts get a chance to consolidate their positions.

Feel free to walk into Mondays opening all shorted up to the eyeballs.

So using tonight's close then at 8a.m. Monday it should start at £2.42.

Cookie I think on Monday morning opening at 8a.m. £1.88 is getting added to the share price and it then it reverts to normal markets supply and demand. So using tonight's close then at 8a.m. Monday it should start at £2.32.

Can see a lot having to close spread betting positions in advance for if they leave them sit then it could lead to some large losses for those being stopped out or a lot of margin required.

Who knows where it will reach equilibrium at by the end of Monday but at 8a.m. it should start at Fridays close + £1.88 thereby triggering follow on events.

Tradehobbs it is quite clearly stating that the full £1.88 is being added to the share price on opening so it looks like a 242p opening price. Markets don't do pro-rata. It was adjusted down on the 14th Feb so it looks like its being given back. Ouch for anyone of a short !!

If I am reading that disclosure correctly it is saying that the previous £1.88 adjustment down is set to be given back to the share price on opening tomorrow. So in theory 54p + £1.88.

If so that is going to sink a heck of a lot of shorts. Conciliatory talks on top.
