Not many shorters out there today wishing to take their chances on a +£1.88 start on Monday morning. Not many sellers either. Just bargain hunters and dividend seekers and market makers moving the price to create volume.

Any rational thoughts on the closing share price going into Monday?

Its not happening at the moment so it looks like the previous adjustment made for the diversification is being given back of +188p. Give it a haircut if you like but I'll happily take 37p to 40p higher and an ex dividend date also coming up imminently with a cracking yield.

It's fact not fiction wildtiger. At 8a.m. On Monday the previous adjustment made downwards of 188p is being given back.

The market can then apply whatever haircut it likes. If you make that the roughly 75% to 80% in line with share price fall of the remaining Evraz shares, then that still leaves about 37p to 40p.

Card don't sell oil, not in the travel sector and about as insulated as you can be from oil prices and as insulated as you can get from the war in Ukraine as well.

FTSE Russell announces that the price adjustment consequent to the divestment of Raspadskaya (Russia, B5800Q2, GEIS Mid Cap) by Evraz (UK, B71N6K8, FTSE 100 Index, GEIS Mid Cap) which was implemented to the FTSE Russell indices at the open on 14 February 2022 will be reversed, effective at the open on Monday 07 March 2022, in order to assign a value of zero to the distribution in light of the circumstances detailed in the 02 March 2022 notice referenced above.

Accordingly, the open price of Evraz will be adjusted to include the previously calculated distribution value of GBP 1.8875197296, with it subsequently reverting to its market price immediately after the open.

For the avoidance of doubt, no further adjustments will be implemented, regardless of any restrictions being lifted at a later date.

Decided yesterday what is being delisted and Poly missed the cut. So it looks did Evraz.

Looks like their decision yesterday has scuppered a Russian coal divestment that Evraz had and the adjustment of +188P should be made back on Monday at the opening bell. At least thats how I read the FTSE Russell communication. What happens thereafter will be down to the market.

Forwards we and they go to a large dividend.

That FT Russell news release last night says +188p on opening on Monday, even if it is only for a flash. Thats the risk you take. Say it gets an 80% haircut then its surely looking at roughly +38p. Monday we get to find out.

Can anyone advise when it goes ex-dividend?

Risky game going into Monday with a short on. I just can't see spreadbetting firms cutting any remorse to their clients.

Can anyone advise what the margin calls will be like on this to stay open or what potential percentage losses you would be looking at, given that you are heavily leveridged?

The more relevant thing is will they let you close first thing Pokerchips. Others will no doubt be looking to buy and take advantage prior to Monday.

I work out that Total dividend for the year of $1.29 as being 97p equivalent.

That equates to almost a 50% yield against tonights closing share price, if you believe things will get back to normal.

Iodan at 8a.m. on Monday it should open at +£1.88 to Fridays close. It can then go for a haircut if it likes. I'm invested so not exposed to any risk from that sort of substantial upside.

Iodan if as you say Russian shares have taken an 80% haircut then you would expect an 80% haircut to the £1.88 which should still add about 37.6p (20% of £1.88).

Everyone can decide for themselves and tbh I am more interested that the peace talks today seemed more conciliatory and what the "peace dividend" will mean for the shareprice
