Righting the ship imho

Indeed AdieuK32 the share price is sat 15% less than it has been when the oil price was $55 per barrel. Like I said yesterday this quarters monies and fcf should be the biggest for many years.

Patience only required.

Hedging the 75% is shrewd in volatile markets and guarantees free cash flow, but it's the 25% at recent oil prices between $105 and $130 per barrel that will generate an abundance fcf

And should hopefully let Rahul set an even higher hedge for last year.

With sanctions on Russian Oil and Gas I expect Tullow can sell as much as they can produce and more.

Alternatively they can crack on, and with the west re-arming Ukraine with 800 air defence systems and a whole lot of other military hardware and munitions. Putin needs a save face deal imho.

The share price looks far too cheap for $105 per barrel oil.

This should represent the best quarter Tullow has had in years.

What its going to take imho is somebody to tell VP that he isn't going to win in Ukraine. Biden speaking with the Chinese President tomorrow. Will the latter be the one to make him see sense and save face?

You have a warped view of events and need to read more broadly and to listen to some of the more intellectual and informed commentary on things. The Ukranians are the more shrewd tactically and still have air capacity including fighter planes and drones.

The commitment tonight by Biden to supply 800 Air defence systems including sourcing longer range ones plus also supplying drones is the decision that turns up the heat on Putin to broker a "saving face" deal. Would take any air cover he has out the sky. Otherwise I think he will find it hard to state he has achieved any objectives at all.
