Can I also just point out that the longer this prevailing disparity persists between the share price of AMC and Cineworld then the more inevitable it becomes, after the Paramount Decrees ruling, that Cineworld will find itself on the end of a speculative takeover approach.

Todays quick move up to and through 61p at the close was significant for it finished on virtually a days high. How I interpret that is that all those who have been trying to day trade CINE for a few pounds on the ups and downs here are now suddenly faced with the AMC rise and an even bigger disparity now between the share price of AMC and Cineworld and an increase in price. Whereas that approach might have turned a profit previously whilst the market makers were happily scouting for shares I think today things have just changed with higher prices to be paid and it now being risky to not have any share holding just in case it goes up again.

I believe the next leg of that Peel Hunt "hard bounce" could start tomorrow and just ahead of the Bank Holiday weekend. Peel Hunt on the matter.

The 60p stops were also taken out about 3 times over in the last few days so it should now be looking at blueish sky and fresh air.

Two institutions just upped their shareholdings yesterday to compete with Jangho of China for any other stock.

Just anecdotally I watched that Tom Cruise clip of his visit to the cinema to watch Tenet on 6 seperate news channels yesterday and the conclusion that I reached, and I am sure most other potential cinema goers will also have reached is that firstly the cinemas are reopen and busy and secondly if Tom Cruise is happy to wear a face mask to watch a movie then so am I.

It is great that he did it off his own back for I am sure the British or American film industry would have willingly paid for the publicity generated.

The share price marginally increased today so they would have been just as well throwing that money down the drain.

Sorry to say this but there is another real prospect of an imminent short squeeze.

It also gives Jangho and the shorters competition for any available shares and I think Jangho were actively adding again and controlling the price tpday so as not to pay too much.

Both 58p and 59p and everything in between are now seeing negligible selling and up to 60p is much the same. Things are shaping up well for an imminent next leg up.

A nice 10 Million was squuezed out the market for someone this morning.

That paramount decrees ruling is always there as the backstop for at these prices the Film studios can buy up any cheap cinema chains.

DEADLINE: How did Regal’s reopening go in the States this weekend?

MOOKY GREIDINGER: We got a very warm welcome in the places where we opened. We opened close to 200 cinemas and we were encouraged by the results. Naturally, Unhinged played in the No. 1 position being the new movie. But people were enthusiastic and also chose the older movies. There were a lot of questions about when Tenet will open, but people were happy to be back to the cinema. I heard they were very impressed by the safety protocols and rules. We are adding another 100 cinemas this weekend and we are eagerly awaiting a greenlight from New York and California — both of which we need.

We hope this is really strong start. COVID numbers are decreasing and we believe that restrictions will be relaxed in certain places once we show that everything is safe and sound.

Another 100 cinemas reopening ahead of Tenet in the US is good news.

Its at a very noticable discount to its peers already and should be about £1.20 to be on par with AMC at this time. Upward trend to continue

Thats about 7 million shares grabbed this morning by whoever wished them and the rest will be some traders having sold and bought back.

The underlying stock is worth far more and you are only at the start of the Peel Hunt hard bounce imvho and the odd fraction of a pence will matter not when it gets to £1.00 and then back to £1.80 pence.

Tenet ticket booking time just to do my bit for the cause.
