RE: The True Covid Death Figures?20 Feb 2021 11:27
Morning LTHCine I actually think it is the other way about where we have actually been over classifying deaths as Covid deaths when they are not. If you can remember a while back Chris Witty and Patrick Valance between them talked of the term "Excess deaths" as a more reflective figure for it represented those deaths over and above what would be normal deaths for that particular time of year. Pardon the pun but it is those more realistic figures that appear to have been buried. I am surprised the press have not been all over this. The story in the Mail may prompt some to dig a bit further. I always found it strange that our supposed Covid deaths were higher than our European counterparts by a mile. It might also provide a partial answer for why there are so many Covid19 deaths in hospital
What is equally as concerning is the number of persons who are dying from cancer and other critical illnesses whilst the NHS stops their treatments to deal with priority number 1, Coronavirus, young and old.
I only mention it for if mortality rates are one of the 4 main determinants in unlocking things then lets keep them real and true.
