M00La, The PM has just stated in the questions at the end of tonights Covid Press Conference that the UK would not be engaging in blockades and that he has been encouraged by what he has been hearing in his discussion over the last few days.

Whilst the market makers have fun across many different sectors generating stock it is probably best just to spy opportunity where it emerges and take it if it is right for you. Then let things settle down and let common sense prevail.

One weeks news story quickly gets replaced with another. Last week or so it was Harry and Megan. Now its EU sabre rattling. Then a next one appears. Crucially though has anything actually been agreed or decided on yet. No it hasn't. has anybody actually sat down and impact assessed advantages, disadvantages, cots, benefits. Not really.

Let the likes of Spain, Portugal, Greece, Cyprus and others EU countries dependant on £-tourism vote as they see fit, along with those countries with integrity and the rationale thinkers that can see the reputational damage any UVL's mixed messages are creating. Not forgetting to throw into the mix any diplomatic "consequence" which the UK may react with, for instance withhold divorce payments, block access to UK fishing waters, Increase charges for the AZ vaccine to market value etc.

In the meantime let us get on ourselves with delivering the successful vaccine programme in the UK with record breaking numbers and that is working highly effectively and to the apparent envy of others.

I posted a link to a Telegraph article last night that says we are about 90% there to being self- sufficient in producing the Oxford / AZ vaccine in the UK alone and on top of that we also supply key ingredients from the Uk for the Pfizer vaccine. Then just also in case some forgot we were also gearing up to produce the Novavax vaccine in the UK in Teeside from Feb with 60 Million doses of that on order.

In addition for a country which has a population of just over 65 Million, realise that the UK actually pre-ordered in total over 400 Million doses of all the different vaccines, from multiple suppliers and in multiple countries. Enough to vaccinate the UK population many times over. Some still being devloped, some due imminently, some requiring 2 doses, some like the Moderna vaccine requiring only 1 dose.

Averaged up a few more and happy with what I have and for things to play themselves out. Won't stop UK shops reopening in the 12th April, permanently and irreversibly imho and 32p against an NAV of 82p.

We know that the Net Asset value of HMSO is 82p and it has been publicised very well over the last week. All saw it and so did many others that are in the market to make good money.

We either get back to close to that or a Hedge Fund or asset stripper buys out the business.

Evening Pickuzawinnah, I would have taken either but got the Pfizer vaccine ("as they had to use it up once defrosted"(6 hrs to use I believe) Touch wood, the only side effect I have had is a light tenderness at the point where I actually got the jab. Also got my date there and then for my 2nd jab and its in only 10 weeks time. So not delayed and actually 2 weeks earlier than I had thought. Normally its twelve weeks.

There seems to be some real "Vaccine Envy" and jealously developing in the EU at the succcess of our rollout programme and our dramatic drop in infection rates, hospitalisations and particularly in the death rates. Sabre rattling imho and more to do with deflecting attention away from late approvals and late sign ups by UVL, Merkel and Macron, and towards others. Instead of making threats that will have little or no impact, they will catch up more, should they stop trying to undermine vaccine confidence and adopt a less talk and more action approach. Get dishing out what seems to be the 12Million or so vaccines they have stockpiled.

Though having made mistakes early on in the pandemic the two things that we have done correctly is realise that vaccines, properly targeted are the way out of this. Secondly to ensure that we are manufacturing it ourselves and supplemented by early orders placed for about 5 or 6 other vaccines that we have ordered.

That is 3 successive days of record vaccination numbers in the UK on the trot with 874,000 doses announced (dished out yesterday) and on a weekend day. Absolutely immense.

Proud to say that I was one of them.

M00La I think we might have had this discussion on the Cine bulletin board before. It happens all the time whereby shares fall (or are manipulated to fall), particularly when the Footsie for instance is hitting recent highs. Then everyone searches and searches for reasons and either cannot find any reason or an obscure reason pops up in market reports, where you then scratch your head, because generally you know it has no relevance to the shares you are holding. We have all been there.

It's all geared to Financial Services and generating further liquidity and trading volumes and ultimately vast profits which when you look at the numbers coming out of the likes of IG Index, CMC Markets, Hargreaves Lansdown, AJ Bell, these last few quarters , they are all reflecting of that. Further back in the chain are the Big Banks, The Hedgies and Private Equity all benefiting. Volatility generates sales and buys and sometimes forget any explanations for it is probably that simple.

Do you really think that when markets are high, one morning everybody across the globe wakes up and thinks I am going to sell my shares this morning. Of course not. The Council of market makers for want of better words, decide these things in pre-market meetings and auctions, tip the scales either way and can accentuate things is they wish. That is personally what I think has happened to HMSO .

The reality with Morgan Stanley is that they only sold 1.2% of a 10.65% holding and still hold 9.45%. The last were sold and threshold crossed on the 15th March. They were all sold into the market and readily absorbed and on the charts that day it rose and hit 37p. No fall. Furthermore the very next day when MS had already sold that last tranche it rose a further 15% + further and hit 43p before ending the day at 42p with well over 90 Million shares traded Check the charts and RNS's.

Somebody has then had fun with the ensuing RNS's, and imho has used them to generate what can't be short of an 8p fall and it can't be short of a further 80 to 90 million shares traded. So in effect there has been a resultant 25% fall in the market cap of HMSO with £474M knocked off the market cap, off a what is a 1.2% sale. Really!! That full 1.2% we know was already readily passed on.

I think I even commented one day that Standard Life issued a sale RNS of CINE shares for twice as much as what MS disclosed and the CINE share price which was up 4%, didn't blink.

Don't be surprised if the share price ultimately gets given back. (With more volume generated again)
HMSO goes Ex Dividend on 1 April and UK shops should be permanently reopening in 12th April.

A pure guess mentioned earlier but strange timing don't you think, after already 2 days of falls and manipulation. I think one or maybe both short sold the stock and tried to ice the cake for a bit more to get the liquidity to close their positions. All done under the 0.5% radars.

Then they turned the taps back on again. The support emerging yesterday was soooooooooooo obvious.

You too could have got your cheap shares for 56p. I call them my Trevor's as they are just under what he sold out for.

CARD actually shot up from 31p to 70p in about a week. I was in it as you probably know, and benefited in two good amounts. Sitting back on it until the refinancing is out the way - probably an Open Offer / RI or Placing to come over there in the next few weeks.
