One top Lekoil investor said he had no plans to sell its shares. “We originally invested in Lekoil, and remain invested, because of the value we see in the Ogo discovery,” he said. “The field?.?.?.?should be very valuable. This value must be put in the context of the Lekoil market capitalisation.”

Nope this should be hung up as they’re coming out rather than stay in hiding..it’s positive news.

Yes 1.3m cash reserves + 640m + New Partnership + EBITDA significantly ahead of market expectations. Excellent RNS.

Only a few weeks now so it should get a lot of interest. It’s all underway and JPLs have now had some 5 weeks.

They have to submit and present the report to the courts by 5th Feb, one would think this report needs to be done by end of next week to allow a week for courts to review for the ‘on or before’ the 5th Feb presentation...!

Next Steps

The JPLs' enquiries (which are already underway), will continue with the JPLs consulting with, and obtaining relevant information from, key stakeholders with a view to determining the possibility of a restructuring (or refinancing) option. The JPLs' findings, and their ultimate recommendation as to the likelihood of a successful restructuring (or refinancing) will be presented to the Court in their report on or before 5 February 2020.

If you go by the RNSs updates leading up to JPL, there were actually many funding streams in progress by the company, then came the knee-jerk reaction from the Nordic/BH, which kind of bought a standstill to all this. Before November:

1) Asset sale talks concluded with counter-parties via City Bank/CSB At June end - awaiting offers

2) Hong Kong listing commenced end of June 19 to be completed by year end concurrently with above

3) Eligibility of RBL $200m and application in in progress at Oct to be completed by year end

4) First commercial gas production from Guizhou Jan 20 (60% G3E / 40% Petrochina)

Now we await what will come first, company wanted JPL so it can restructure on its own terms..gla
