kmack - for my part, and I hope I'm being realistic, I'll settle for 2.6p which is £0.026 if my decimal places serve me correctly!
Good luck!
LT
Right Now 2.6p would be fine for me and is quite possible following the setting up of the SPV and the much hyped and hoped-for GTW deal.
Clearly these need to come pretty soon as there can be little doubt that funds will start to run low over the coming several months ALTHOUGH SB was not at all phased by that issue when I spoke with him recently.
After the first deal and once we have left 1p behind it really is a case of anything is possible as there are multiples of interested parties talking with us about the GTW project.
This is giving me a strong sense of déjà vu as I well remember buying a bucketload of Dominion which morphed into Ophir where I was fortunate to have the foresight to sell my 100,000 OPHIR shares at an average way north of £5.00 (currently 57.5p!!!!!!!!!).

Thanks for that - it's always good to hear from the "silent majority" who recognise NUOG, warts and all, BUT know enough about conceptual projects to see the real potential we have here.
Hi also to Irishmouse - the Indian was one of my best memories from that Lanzarote holiday as the weather was pretty un--Lanzarotian which rendered the week almost instantly forgettable!!!

It might come as a surprise to you that I agree with a lot of what you say and even if you appear to have a problem with me I do not filter you, as I do several others, because you actually articulate points in a manner that is worthy of debate.
I do not know where seadog is as I left several twitter groups and am thus no longer in contact with him and others that belonged to those groups.
That said, one of the guys I used to be in contact with is sharelock and, as no-one's fool, he does have a technical understanding of NUOG that makes an awful lot of sense plus I know that he is in the analytical field of non-AIM companies.
I must be getting thick in my old age but what you assert in your second paragraph seems to be contradicted in your third or am I missing something?

Thanks for filling in some gaps with your post.
It is now pretty clear that a lot hangs on the SPV being concluded with the last stage of the negotiations, as far as I can see, revolving around how much is put into it by interested parties.
It's also good to see that you, like me, as an actual shareholder, are not only keen to discuss your investment with a representative of the Company but are also prepared to share that information.
Makes such a difference from the sniping, bullying discourse put out by the "filtered" ones here!
LT
NowtNu = Nowt2say so you can join Marbur and a couple of others on filter .... byeeeeeee!

Had a long chat with Simon Bygrave.
The conversation covered the wide spectrum of all-things MFDevco/NUOG, limited naturally by what he is allowed to say, i.e. without giving away anything that he should not!
As always, the devil is/was in the detail BUT, picking through my notes, SB brought up the subject of the SPV on about 3 occasions, the first when he emphasised that the set-up of which is not quite as easy as some folk would have us believe and later pointing out what a major step this will be WHEN fully finalised.
Whilst he obviously cannot give a timescale for this to be completed he advised me that the SPV “was absolutely being worked on” and with all interested parties (we know them all by name now I believe) having “NO interest in seeing this fail” which I took as a very positive sign.
I speculated, as a businessman myself, that the signing of the SPV, even without any immediate funds available from it, might well provide security for ongoing loans and this was not dismissed by SB although we both agreed that this area of potential funding is above our respective pay grades.
As regards SPV and GTW, SB fully understands the “natural scepticism” surrounding these newcomers-to-the-block projects BUT these are extremely serious ventures that definitely have the capacity to be ……. wait for it …… TRANSFORMATIONAL.
He underscored this by emphasising that Devco were tasked to very positively lead on last week’s Siemens event participating and leading in workshops with LOTS of operators who absolutely know that Devco’s concept works. He emphasised that “they (Siemens) are in bed with us” on GTW with their interest not being on running projects – that’s our job – but providing the generators for each project as it develops.
I believe he also confirmed that the OGA and OGTC (ed. Who they?) were in attendance and leant their own support to the fact that the Devco concept works which I take to be a very good commendation.
Although SB could not give any specific dates for any pipeline-activity I remain convinced – VERY CONVINCED – that June could well be our month.
Lastly, I asked SB for his rating of how he perceived things right now with 1 being bloody awful and 5 being absolutely bloody fantastically brilliant he gave a “4” which I thought was pretty good.

Well said about who you'd blame - or congratulate - for any significant move here in either direction.
I know your average is seriously lower than mine and you are to be congratulated for what I reckon will be a very worthwhile investment for us both, by the bye, as the communications log-jam seems to have ended and we get tantalising hints of what awaits us.
I have not sold a single share out of my holding and have no intention of so doing unless, or until, my main source of income emanating from my successful business which I set up over 40 years ago dries up or reduces.
I know that the above strategy gets to a lot of people here who become incandescent at the very thought that I have marshalled my income and expenditure to a point that I can live very comfortably whilst maintaining the patience to see my investment in NUOG rewarded ................ and quite soon too I believe!
Being a lad from a working-class background - not that I am a strong advocate of the class system but facts are facts here and my family lived in council accommodation where mum, dad and their 6 progeny lived tooth by jowl - I do not possess the "expectation by right" that so many people have seemed to develop as our society "matures"; it is because of this that I have always and will always be able to adjust to the circumstances at hand rather than crying into my beer that life has been oh-so-hard on me!
I guess that makes me a survivor whilst so many people - particularly some here - have only the chip on both shoulders to give balance - any balance - to their rather sad lives whereby all they seem able to do is rage from the sidelines at others whilst trying to offer their bullying, harassing and intimidating rhetoric as somehow being altruistic!
Altruistic my posterior as each comes to this board fully loaded with their agendas with many being very, very transparent!
I to have my agenda but it does not involve trying to constantly frit others whilst popping in and out of this share which unfortunately has become a traders' dream as it has built its reputation with traders as the "gift that keeps on giving" due mainly to the perceived and obvious inability at times of our Company in extracting its Corporate Communication's finger to tell us what is going on but I have a very strong feeling all that is about to change!!!!
So, mcadder I wish you and other lth's "bon chance" and well done for posting so regularly as your posts are always a good read!

When you actually look at the "market" you surely have to conclude that it is hardly based on a mass exodus as such relatively small amounts per day are involved.
I really do feel for people that are having to sell right now as I fully understand and appreciate the losses they will surely be making.
That said, you are right in the binary alternative(s) you outline with my bet being that we are definitely on to something with GTW with the answer to the binary statement coming before the end of June in my opinion.
LT
Roy
Au contraire!
Looking forward to the denouement which I believe we are very close to.
LT

Thanks for that!
LT
As far as I am aware there are 3 holders who have declared via TR1's: mcadder, lyates and myself.
Also, as far as I know, none of the aforementioned have sold a single share although I know both mcadder and lyates have added recently!
When I explained that I was fresh out of investment cash - not cash per se - that fact somehow got distorted into representing something totally different but hey ho that's what living in a democracy's all about!

I'm inclined to agree with you especially as CurtisFinch has just 4 posts to his name and all on here in the last few minutes!
'twould be good to believe that Brazil is still on the cards but I'd like a little more than gossip to underpin any news!

Thanks - that's left me absolutely gobsmacked ...... truly awesome.

Being naturally inquisitive, can you post a link to those "heavy haulers" as what you describe is pretty bloody awesome??

Thanks for the response.
As regards "electric fracking", this seems to me to be the same sort of evolutionary development, driven by many factors including the environmental one, that now means that we can produce 40 inch TV's that a child can lift whilst the first TV my family owned had a 9 inch screen and weighed about as much as a London bus!
As the old saying goes: " The stone age did not end because we ran out of stones!"!!!!!
LT
Hi Barry
I know you have your ear very close to the ground in Newfie and wonder what you are hearing?
Thanks in advance.

One of the main reasons I have stood back from commenting is the fact that I just got totally cheesed off with some of the accusatory stuff coming my way, linked to the fact that I promised myself that I would give this some months to pan out under GS's leadership and that is exactly what I am doing.
I have not sold a single share by the way but, regrettably, lack liquid funds to take up the Open Offer - Sod's law that this will now go to .9 in my self-appointed timeline!!!!!

I suspect that someone here is working to their own agenda in overseeing the removal of yesterday's posts including my own which was basically in support of seeing this move forward under Graham without the constant rear-view mirroring to see something that isn't actually there!
I have had the pleasure of meeting with Graham at the AGM and was mightily impressed by the vision he brings to the Company as it explores a concept that ticks so many boxes with one of the main ones, in my opinion, being that we have solid relationships with the Governing Authorities in the GTW field as well as excellent North Sea and Norwegian contacts, the latter being a well-worn stamping ground for Alan Minty where I understand he has developed business contacts covering the whole spectrum of our operations from seismic to financial solutions.
As I have said before, I was totally and utterly devastated by the recent placing but I suspect that the company were between a rock and a hard place when they went to the market and the deal they got was the best there was at that particular time with the possibility of history weighing heavily on the issue.
As I said before I am reducing the number of posts I put up and am only writing this one as the previous one has been deleted.
All the best!

I couldn't agree with you more on the point you make and just hope that advisors have advised that enough is enough as far as punishment is concerned.
The danger is that if this carries on it will have an impact on MFDevco by association and that might not sit well with other interested parties who probably would want to walk away from a dirty boxing match where there could be no-one left standing!
As most of the protagonists are old enough to know better - me included - I sincerely hope common sense prevails enabling all parties to move forward in the support of the one thing that should unite us all and that is NUOG itself!
