Hi Ggp I agree your comments about the company and CEO and I believe the momentum is still upward at the moment and that’s why i’m still holding it. But that’s just my opinion and so I try not personalise it and remember the quote “Markets are never wrong – opinions often are” from Jesse Livermore and I just let the Stock price to confirm or contradict my opinion and because the Stock doesn’t know I own it let alone care.:-)

Hi Ggp you are absolutely right “The shares do not know that We own them” and I would add “Let alone care”, I remember your quote last year to another poster because you captured my thoughts and phrased it well and so I try to remind myself to no personalise my choices in the Market.

Don’t worry we win some and lose some in life, like Frank Sinatra said “That’s Life” :-), tbh to me there’s no time right in real life as such so just I try to focus if i’m happy with Profit/Loss at the time, cos we only live in present and not in hindsight. You are a winner to me when you have a good and decent Profit on you money, the compounding effect is really important thing in finance. I’m still holding it here but when I bailout hopefully it will be with good Profit i’m happy with if i’m that lucky that’s and will not look back.

But with your sore feet I don’t envy there, put your feet up and have some rest and welcome back on this roller coster ride with Shell! :-)

Hi Ggp who really knows what the future holds so please don’t worry about hindsight because we can only live life in the present, My only timing in the stock market is to make a good profit on the capital I risked so if you made a good return on your money and you are happy with that then that’s what counts. To me it’s the compounding that counts in investing even if it’s only 10% each trade but over and over again, imagine how rich we would be :-) like Jesse Livermore said “Profit always take care of themselves but losses never do”.

Hi Tunrkey17 it certainly has been since October’s low and I’m not complaining after 2 years of drifting sideways. May it carry on but we all know that nothing keeps going forever and in my opinion is due a normal retracement now before I it turns around to make new highs again. Will it reach 4225 b4 it retraces, let’s see what the follow-ups hold. IMHO DYOR

Good to see the SP closed at £4100 yesterday, now it would be nice to finally see if it closes above the all-time Closing price 4180 made on 04/11/2021 and if it reaches above £4600 or thereabouts then it would tell me is turning into upward momentum but b4 then a normal reaction could be due the higher it gets now IMHO. So let’s see what the follow-ups hold.

Hi Ggp are you getting too dizzy at this height now :-) but it’s a nice problem to have isn’t it.

That’s why I like to have a price guide/pointers to see the trend direction, so today I’m gonna see if it closes above my short term price guide/pointer £2905 first b4 I can even think about my medium and longer term price guides/pointers. I can only hope so let’s see what the future holds :-) IMHO DYOR
