Today I added the fourth and final tranche with an avg price 41.45, so let’s see if I’m right and if it closes above 46.91 it would be a good indicator to me.

Then my own price indicators, target, turning point or guide to over come will confirm the trend is upwards to me.

1) 5295 closing price made on 07/08/2020

2) 5905 highest closing price made on 08/10/2020

3) 6330 highest closing price made on 08/02/2021

4) 6900 highest closing price made on 02/03/2021, before the big fall to the lowest closing price 2145 made on 22/04/2025.

It’s been a long wait since 2021’s high so let’s see what the future holds.

Today sold another 10% of the remaining holdings and only 40% of my original holdings left now

To be honest I don’t have a fixed price and I only buy or sell when I comfortable with, so that’s why I sold half of my holdings to release my original capital at risk and now I wait and see what the future holds with the rest of my holdings now that the original capital is not at risk anymore

I finally sold today half of my holdings and released all my original capital plus 2.21% profit excluding any divs, I just couldn’t resist to take some profits off the table with an avg SP 1408 after accumulating from Nov 2020 to April 2021. Now I’m just gonna sit tight with the rest of the holdings without worries and see what the future holds.

I wonder if the Half Yearly results tomorrow will be a good one and whether the Market will like the result?

I wonder if there will be an update tomorrow and whether management will scare the market again like they did in March & May 2025 with negativity before the big share price falls. Or if the market will like the update?

Hi Ggp I’m really well thank you and I hope you are too. To me the whole market is in sideways (directionless) from all the uncertainties at moment (wars, inflation, Gdp etc…) and tbh I’m not looking forward to the rest of the year and term with current US president revenge and chaos mode. I agree with you with Shell CEO has good so far, I remember two years ago you saying that he was a good strategist after he was nominated as a CEO in 2023, so may he carry on focusing the company profitable areas of the business.

Hi Ggp yes I’m still on the sideline and just sitting tight at the moment, there are a lot of uncertainties hence the market volatility at the moment. Hopefully conditions will improve and the SP will go up again, so let’s see what the future holds.

Hi Ggp you are right “ If it sounds like blx it probably is:”, it was a scammer on a fishing expedition because any legitimate company including brokers wouldn’t give personal details like that because then they will be in breach of Data Protection Act (DPA) let alone the scammer claiming the FCA gave the phone number to the scammers. By the way we may deal through a broker as Private investors but our shares are held through a nominee account which is separate from the broker, here is some details of how it works

Scammers seem to be prevalent these days and I don’t pickup any unexpected phone calls especially when I don’t recognise the number and I just let the machine answer it first, a genuine caller would leave a message but scammers don’t leave a message and just put the phone down. I’m been on the Telephone Preference Service for a very long time to stop cold callers as they are not allowed to call then but scammers are still calling so when the scammers stop calling I then go to the website Who Called Me and enter the number that call me and I see that the scammers did to a lot of other people too. That’s how I do my own filter is not perfect but I don’t want to deal with them tbh because I don’t have problems spending my own so I don’t need them. Yes you are right I try to be careful what I wish for indeed, because we both know that higher commodities prices do not always correlate to higher SP. Remember in 2022 after Russia invaded Ukraine the high Oil and Gas prices reached but the SP peaked 2440 (closing price) on 08/06/2022 then retreated down to 1936.40 (closing price) on 14/07/2022, even though commodities prices were still higher than what it has been this year when the SP reached a new all-time closing High at 2946 on 10/05/2024.

But as consumers we will be impacted harder in everyday life if the commodities prices are higher again like in 2022. Besides with Shell break-even price in the range $30 to $55 from brokers and especially what you mentioned previously about Shell ceo Wael Sawan skills to cut costs and turning to profitable projects, the company will make good profits with the oil price range $60-$70 to me tbh.
