Do a bit of research into Avion I was surprised how small they are. If they were to pull out the share price would instantly halve so imo this is far too risky atm and a very long time to have money tied up doing nothing

Avion are a very small company with limited resources they are certainly not big pharma and perhaps their inexperience is showing with the SPA been rejected at the meeting. All sounds very messy

Minimum 30 days before they meet to discuss trial design, but will likely be delayed due to Covid as mentioned in rns. They won’t consider the other application in the meeting FDA approval of a phase 3 Trial takes at least a year in most cases. The rns is announcing a delay, as ppl were expecting SPA approval which now looks a long way off given first meeting likely won’t happen until 2021 now. Surprising how naive some people are, I don’t see any good news in the rns apart from it’s not been refused

So if DNL was on time then why is IMM SPA now nearly double the review time and still no news? Either there is a problem with the SPA or the FDA have a huge backlog to deal with and this is stuck at the back of the que behind Covid and Cancer. The delays are well published in various articles, if it’s delayed until Q1 2021 then 9p will most likely be tested imo plenty of flippers from the placing will get bored with the delays soon imo

That was for a totally different type of approval in a different department, anyway I’m sure the FDA will announce how long the delay will be soon, my guess as stated is Q1 2021 based on articles I have read on FDA delays due toCovid

Investors here have to be realistic, the FDA are under a huge workload and this SPA will imo be in the review que until a vaccine is found against Covid 19. If they announce it’s delayed until Q1 I expect the share price to drop to 9p levels short term, but longer term once the trail has been completed there is a chance for big gains

The approval of drugs is much higher priority at the FDA than approving a phase 3 trial design, the point is that this SPA will most likely be right at the back of the que behind all Covid related tests and behind all cancer drugs and trials. There is a huge backlog unfortunately and imo Q1 2021 is now realistic, let’s hope we get an update from the company soon regarding how long the delay will take

Exactly I think there will be an update soon as the FDA will know how far they are behind, if they set a deadline for end of Q1 then at least a deadline with have been set

Hopefully once a vaccine for Covid is approved the FDA can work through this huge backlog, looking at the scale of delays it looks like it might be Q1 2021 for approval imo from articles I have read it looks like they have delays of around 6 months, not surprising when Covid trials needing approval asap. Hopefully we get a bit of guidance from the FDA soon regarding the delays if we get an rns saying Q1 2021 it’s not too long to wait

Does anyone have any information on how Avion will fund a phase 3 trial, I looked them up and they only have very small profits not enough to fund a $25m phase 3 trial, would be interested to see there cash in bank as they seem a very small operation

Google FDA delays regarding non Covid and Oncology submissions, loads of articles all saying the same thing that a huge backlog has built up and with this been such low priority I think until a vaccine is given clearance by the FDA this will remain in the que unfortunately

If you think they will award EL within 6 months before matd run out of money... in 10 months they cannot even agree to sit round a table to discuss a simple reserve report which is the simplest part. If they finally do approve that then they need to sit down again to discuss the main part of the EL application which is yet to be submitted by matd. If it takes 10 months to do nothing how can it take less than 6 months to do everything.... I’d bet by Christmas they still haven’t met to discuss the simple reserve report as no date was given by Mike in the rns which suggests he is completely in the dark as to timeframes. He cannot risk his company going bankrupt so a placing or loan note funding such as Bergen used before will imo be required.

I read an article yesterday saying the FDA now has a 6 month backlog as most meetings have been cancelled on anything other than Covid or Oncology. Will be 2021 imo before this trial is looked at as it will be very low priority for the FDA so way down the list

The SP is far higher imo than any discounted placing will be and we know they have hardly any money left, we know the EL is not even close the first stage of it hasn’t even been discussed yet let alone approved. So why would anyone buy now when it’s been spelled out that funds are needed and the EL is months if not years away imo. The time to buy is after a discounted placing or to take the placing imo, unless a death spiral funding option like Bergen is used like matd used before. Either way there is no reward for the risk taken by buying atm as a placing or death spiral funding is needed to save the company imo

Would imagine the price will settle around 2p ahead of a placing, 1.5p looks likely now imo but that’s better than administration
