Treacle, I wldn t under-estimate how much you do know tbh. You're obviously aware of present global events, their impacts and also historically what has ahppened in the markets, so I'd say you know more than you give yourself credit for.

Been a massive learning curve for me esp past 4 months as Ive had to learn and keep aware simply due to my spread bets as the indices in part'r (and commods) are affected on a daily basis of what is going on and what is anticipated to occur.

And even after all that research/speaking to ppl, you get King Numptie posting one wretched tweet and he wrecks everything in secs!!! ;)

FARN was a different kettle of fish for me. I intervened there as my b/g is 100% on the pharma/medical/research side so I knew for an absolutef act after reading *that* RNS it currently meant the end for their drug and the group of pis that were relentlessly and disingenuously trying to delib'y make pis lose money really annoyed me but also meant I cld at least post with knowledge rather than supposition.

Wasnt nice to see it drop by anthr 65-70% but hopefully it stopped some buying in....wldnt have bothered me so much if any of them had even the remotest idea abt trials and the real implications of the RNS but was obvious they had 0%. Not even 1% lol!! ;)

Though SPX hit higher highs yday, NQ stalled.

Signs of 'exhaustion' beginning to show. Keep saying it but will say it again...remember what happened in Feb...........matter of time imo....

Plus QT for remainder of this month has to kick in, up to $40 billion(!)...wont help the indices...

...now at $1217-18.........more pain yet to come for gold bears me thinks ......(imho)......

Gold may bounce here to about $1300 but that will be the crucial point, If it fails approx at that level, then that will be it for gold and it will head lower than current levels.

Once gold has hit $800-ish, whenever that may be, then will begin the new cycle where it will soar. It may be then and only then we see $1400+.

I cant comment on the timing as no-one knows in truth. The current drop was not foreseen by the majority. I can only comment on anticipated levels but w.r.t. timing, if I knew that, I cld retire v soon..............;)

By the way, shd the above happen then its goodbye for oil also.....look out for the lows of 2016 once again.....Dollar is the one to watch....

In addition, a very strong dollar will impact negatively on gold...as it does already on most commods inc. oil.

My understanding is that we will be heading into a deflationary period i.e. initiated by the US where $ will soar (which is also in contrast to most ppl’s thinking).

As such, it is anticpated, both fundamentally and technically, from what I have read/researched, that Gold will head to abt $800!

Inconceiveable?? Me thinks not. At $1360-70 only a number of months ago, Gold Bulls were calling for $1450-1500. We have now dropped $150 since then, $60 of which has happened within 6-8 weeks preceded by a period when gold was pretty much stagnant for 4-8 wks.

Most thought $1300s were the lows ….that was $80 ago. And we cld yet drop to $1200 judging on gold's movement even in the past 24 hrs...

Central bank stimulus (QE) has created an entire new set of financial asset bubbles that will at some period burst. In contrast, QT is beginning to occur and interest rate hikes are being slowly introduced etc,

Currently, Governments are fighting deflation. However, if government stimulus fails or even falls, we will begin to see deflation, not inflation. This is what is anticipated is going to happen…by the few I accept so this is a concept where once again it is against the herd but then being a Gold Bear paid off in recent months so…..

Gold is normally considered to be an inflation hedge and also a safe haven asset. However, the safe haven aspect is now slowly dying….after all where is the pereceived value in gold anymore?

Someone on that bb is trying waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too hard to ramp this me thinks. 'Could', Would', 'Should'......point is none of that matters. Alli has had to throw his money into here as let's face he cant let it sink at this stage with the amount he has invested in it already. Securing deals *possibly* with th world's largest blah blah blah means nothing until changes can be seen and that means the bottom line showing proftability which it currently isn't......

On the other side, yes this has potential but companies are measured on their actual successes...not what 'could' be. Plus there's the massive dilution.

Waiting for further sp drop before considering whether to buy back in.....AIMHO.....but that bb is just a typical ramp-no-facts-no-value bb at present! Goodness forbid anyone put forward a counter argument....look at the bottom line currently peeps....and the fact sp has fallen this month from the spike of ~26p.......

Waiting to see what happens presently; better R:R opps with quicker % gains around in the ST....Probably wldnt be so offputting if it wasnt for 1 or 2 on that bb who arent really doing anything to encourage pis to buy....

Anyhow, *cld* be worth a buy but waiting for further sp drop for me personally esp due to the dilution....
