FAANG : 2 have bombed so far, the third GIggle is ot reflecting the fact it is not growing signficcantly and PE means bog all when you scrutinise further.

Giggle and FB are $1.4trillion mcap totalled.

Global ad spending is apparently $6billion.

Growth rate has been 4.3% for the past 8 yrs supposedly yet they are expecting 20%. err, how exactly???

This is nonsense and *when* the market wakes up the bubble that is NQ, wait for the tumble.

That said, 150+points in hrs isnt a bad achievement on release of one set of data. Imagine if Apple and Amazon underperform....Is Apple's sales data going to be that impressive? Me thinks not....

FB lost over 24% of its price at one stage. Look deeper into these stocks and PE mean bog all. Growth is important and thelikes of FB, Giggle, even NFLX are not growing at the expected rate/ %:

Earnings data came out and completely undid Trump's rise on the markets. Yeeeay FB!!

In fact it knocked off over 150+ points of NQ (100 in mins) ...great for my shorts and frustrated at this dumb unsubtantiated rally in the techs where the FAANG stocks are holding NQ and SPX up yet so far both Netflix and FB have underperformed!!

Let's see what Amazon does today. Poor data and we get 100+ knocked off NQ easy though 150-200 wld be good, hehe! Just another pumped up FAANG stock that isnt valued correctly imho......

NQ soared over 90 points on release of the news hitting ATH. Again!! (approx 7520)

Dow (150+) and SPX (25+) also did well and news sent all indices to the moooooooon.........

Agree re. 95% of tye cryptos. However, from what Ive been reading re. BTC, this one appears it will have longevity. As said, I wld only enter shd it reach 3000s and if not, no way am I chasing it. Current rally is getting e'one hyper again and we know what has happened on every single occasion in past 2+ months.....

Anyhow, will let it take its course and see.....I *may* even consider shorting it to 3000s....but again, depends how exposed I am re. other instruments...and how convinced i am, it is going to drop....

Agree 100%, v risky so just thoughts and nothing more presently;) Got enough going on with these pesky indices that seem resilient to falling v far and bounce on every minor dip setting higher highs each time eg NQ.

FAANG stocks arent helping either and nor is the bouyant earnings reports for most cos. Bah!

From 12700s last Wed followed to 12480s by Friday and then a ~200 point spike yday following European PMI data, DAX has failed again to break 12700s.

Gap below yet to be filled and weak session in US late aftrn onwards didnt help.

Currently doing bog all and range bound within a 20-30 point level.

Come on, drop! Fill that gap from Tues!
