Morning all - indeed good news and a surprise after the German announcement made it easy for UK to sidestep the issue and prevaricate. I sold yesterday at 10.50 as the signs began to look decidedly dodgy but have bought back in today at 12.50 as I think the pendulum has once again shifted from 'Unlikely' to 'Likely' to go the distance. If, and it's a big IF, you believe the same, then the uplift is still 50/60% from here to 20p and so definitely worth the risk imho. GLA

Now trading at around 11.00p bid and not surprising. Sure it will bounce at some point but only slightly imho - too many obstacles getting in the way at the moment. If either UK or German review comes good, then that's the time to get back in I suggest. GLA

Good find ndmLSE. If approved it would probably go up to about 19p as there is always a slight discount to the agreed offer price for financing, etc but still a great return of 20% in 24hrs from today! GLA

Look at the RNS's Chesh! Basically, UK Gov deciding whether to instigate a full review of the T/O and that decision is due no later than midnight next Thursday so, one way or the other, there will be an RNS by next Friday morning! If not referred, that is the Green light for the T/O which is already agreed at 20p a share so that would be a v. quick 30% pop from these levels. Have a good Bank Holiday. GLA

Agreed King - with a near 50% uplift in the near future if an AGREED T/O goes through, the risks are relatively minimal. Form-filling and Red Tape unsettle peeps but I can't see a convincing case for this to be scuppered even taking the concern of having China intimately involved in our Emergency services, etc. After all, our Utilities are almost exclusively foreign-owned and how bloomin' vital are they???!!

UK authorities may want to look at the deal now - can't think why. GLA

You're right Dibs but therein lies the rub as they say - no-one seems to have any idea how much, even very roughly, VS would look to charge per transaction placed through their platform for John Lewis, Tesco, Argos or any of the other Contracts it has. The Edge is clearly proven to be the market leader as shown by the quality of it's Client List but exactly how much revenue does a decent Contract mean? Could be anywhere between 10's and 100's of thousands but without knowing the very rough rate per transaction, we cannot even make an educated guess. That's the downside to VS not being Listed in that we cannot ask the BoD for more info. Still, definitely a good company and, on volume alone, one has to assume that VS will make a decent return from all these Blue chip retailers as well as the huge NHS Contract. GLA

Yes MM, I'm in for the long term/IPO - I am hoping VS is either bought privately or floated in the near future.

Retained profit (Shareholders Funds) also increased by 60% between 31/03/15 and 31/03/16 which is a very good indicator on Abbreviated Accounts.

Thought it might be worth going over position since October 2015 when Nick Jenkins invested: 05/10/15 - Nick Jenkins, Dragon & Founder of Moonpig, invests valuing VS at £58m & LEG 7% share @ £4m 19/02/16 - "VS has contracted two clients, both of whom are household names" 24/10/16 - Shelford Group, which comprises ten leading NHS multi-specialty academic healthcare organisations, contracts VS 02/11/16 - VS chosen as platform for NHS Shared Business Services joint venture "an Amazon-like marketplace for the NHS" 03/03/17 - VS wins contract with John Lewis Partnership Our MCAP today stands at £5.6m so, even putting all our other investments at zero, you have to assume that VS has at least doubled over the last 18 months on the back of these significant Contract wins, so the LEG 7% share would then be worth £8m on its own. Therefore we certainly have a valuation of at least 0.35 without allowing for any future potential or other holdings. SP ridiculously cheap at 0.21 imho. GLA

Certainly hope so. VS IPO would be excellent because LEG is, and has been for a while, a One Trick Pony. Looks like the Pony is galloping now though!!

Excellent new contract win for VS. Real traction in both retail and the NHS. GLA

In the last update, they did say: "The Company expects to be in a position to finalize its advice to shareholders by 28 February 2017" So, to be fair, 'expects' is not the same as 'We will' and therefore today may not bring an announcement. GLA

Just happy that STEL will return from suspension which, lest we forget, was a very real possibility that we would delist. For me, I've been in STEL for several years now and, whilst I hope this triggers the company to a recovery, my patience has run out so I will exit when we return from suspension but I wish all remaining investors good luck.

Fingers crossed for a deal but I suspect RIP STEL today. KS utterly hopeless losing Kono with no update since and now this. Sad day for investors but will take it all back if we survive! GLA

I think the market simply feels that 3 months or more is too long to have money tied up here that could be used elsewhere in the interim. I'm sure the deal will go through but possibly not until Summer - I will keep a close eye and, if the sp is still languishing in April/May at these levels, will come back as I do believe everyone will get their 20p in due course.
