Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Khoemacau copper mine in Botswana is a real gem of copper and silver. It's got 22 years life and further drilling to increase the size of the resource. Worth checking their website for more on Botswana mines.
Seis, if you look at the map of Botswana, you see AFP have their areas near Tier3 deposits. We are closer to the operating mine there. I seem to recall me mentioning it during the time we acquired the licenses. As there was a lot of skepticism at the time, and I was trying to reassure people it was a good deal. Looking forward to how licenses are being bought all over the world. Its pretty obvious Remy made an astute deal, considering current land grab. I know there's a operating mine that's got significant proven resources and is now producing. Think I DM Fulmar via twitter at the time? Anyway, so glad that we beat AFP to those licenses. Bet find it flog it cheap was gutted, not to worry he has his 'hero worshipper' to comfort him.
FK79, it's so obvious that Ellie is trying say that a placing is in the works. She said a month ago Casa sale would never happen, now it's nearly over the line. Said that court arbitration would drag on for years, settled yesterday apparently, heard it from a reliable source (rns). Now shifting over to there's a placing because the company doesn't have any money? All speculation, and fear porn to drive her 'AGENDA' which has been ongoing since last summer and doesn't look like stopping in the near future? No one knows what will happen over the next month? Casa sale / JV/ BC +MM Court cases? As for outstanding costs, Rothschilds are on a no deal no payment. Casa liabilities will be absorbed by the buyer, another story spun to spread misinformation. Anything else is pure conjecture!
After rethinking about the rns yesterday, I've come to a conclusion on the whole matter. Firstly, no one knew MM was a bad egg, but no licences without him in the first place. Secondly, he was happy to create as much hassle /havoc as possible as he didn't care about anyone else. Thirdly he will own the old Zamsort licence area of 8km sq, and the Kalaba plant, which no one is happy about. Now that the legal cases have been resolved, we still own 792km sq of licences, that's 99% of the area. And guess what? MM owns 1% let that sink in for a hour or longer. So now that the cases have been resolved, we don't need a scoping study? Unless we intend to mine oxides from Cheyeza East? Somehow I think we'll drill and prove up. So that's where the company is at present, plus we have a major or two in discussion about a JV. I don't think NvS did this deal without the major telling him to get it resolved? Anyway no one picked up on the fact that the other court cases for misrepresentation and fraud were not mentioned in the rns. They were brought by the Zambian authorities and could be still ongoing? The 8km sq area will be difficult to mine, especially when there's no space to store the waste ore. 4km by 2km doesn't strike me as big enough to extract ore at 1000t per day? As for raising money to drill? Depends on what sort of deal is negotiated? Can't say until a deal is done. But we managed to keep 99% of our license area and we can start a drill campaign in July onwards. Casa will get over the line just, $750k on conclusion of deal and further $750k after 90 days. Nothing more to add! ATB everyone apart from the Troll.
Apr, yes agree that the Kalaba plant and surrounding area is now part of the pay off to remove the legal cases. Feel that MM played the **** in causing as much trouble when AA were in EA. He knew that no deal would conclude when legal cases were hanging over the company. Guess its a small price to pay for a JV with a major. Probably the reason there was no follow up on the scoping study, which I'm presuming will not be issued. Unless the company make an application for a plant on Cheyeza?
FK79, believe the 8km surrounding area in the rns, suggest that the Kalaba plant and surrounding area will be exchanged for dropping the legal cases. That's my take on it, Zamsort had been reduced to a smaller area of the license. And Handa and Afrimin were the new licences. Handa = old Zamsort. Afrimin =old Zaco.
Apr, that's the thing people forget about the scoping study, that you've posted about the Cobalt element of extraction. This is why the study is taking longer than expected. Suspect that when it's rns'd, a big confidence boost to the future campaign of mining and drilling. Quality research there mate, appreciate the work put in to help people make investment choices. XTR will need $5lb copper just to break even, that's why it's a tradeable share, and not a long term investment. Suspect when people discover the economics of XTR, they will realise that they were sold a dream.
Apr, exactly my point. How the hell does XTR get such 'God' like followers and inflated numbers on such low grades. Yet we've FCF of about $25m or so on Conservative copper price? On 5-5000 tonnes of copper and some Cobalt credits thrown in for good measure?
I never understood the way certain companies have a 'Occult' like following. We've got oxides near surface at 1-1.5% and yet, were considered a bad investment by certain individuals who have frequented this bb? Yet XTR has 0.4cueq and is lauded as potential 2m tonnes of cueq? With some people quoting $7-800m sale of said assets? It just seems to be too true to be true, as the saying goes? And some small gold mine in Africa that barely breaks even, but is worth millions, even tho no one wants to buy it/ or can get rid of? Guess networking with the right people /investors is paramount in finding hidden gems on AIM. What would 3 times the oxide grades on Cheyeza East be worth if 0.40% cueq is so valuable? Wait until the Capex for XTR is revealed, that's when the deluded Troll will be humbled by Colin Bird. A turd that couldn't flog a gold mine, has been polished by drilling and finding inferior grades. Arcm have the added luxury of being surrounded by majors with operating mines nearby. Sentinel is just 40km away, so no high capex needed to do a deal with a major. Will be interesting to see what CB conjures up when trying to flog XTR, especially with such high capex and costs associated with any mining projects? Maybe he'll use his head and get 'Arthur Daley' to negotiate a sale!! Find it, flog it cheaply, yet crowed upon as a 'Legend' by some ill fated occult followers!!
FK79, I'm merely suggesting that the company may have been advised not to release the scoping study until the court cases are done. Its been a long time since it was supposed to be implemented? The Kalaba plant demonstrated it can produce copper concentrate, via a small scale trial. If it can produce copper from the oxides that is on the license, then it shouldn't be a problem going forward. However listening to others opinions is a valid point. We have 1-1.5% which is considerably better than the average of 0.5%. But other Juniors have 0.4% cueq and there's no issues with their oxides. Yet there seems to be a issue with Arcm? We await the scoping study with a heavy breath. ATB everyone apart from the Troll, stay home I've been to work and its dangerous out there!
We all want the answer to the scoping study? But unfortunately the company has not released the info. Maybe they have been instructed to not, until the outcome of the court cases by their legal advisor?
A lot of muck being thrown at the company by certain individuals. Remember previous drilling campaigns have produced 1% - 1.5% on Cheyeza East over certain intervals. That's as good as most Juniors have on their prospective licences, and we've over 800km sq to locate anomalies. It's a hell of a rescource area, and honing in on those targets is key to unlocking shareholders value. Once court cases are done and Casa is over the line, sentiment will return. Kalaba, scoping study is the next to do things. Then we'll have a look at finding out what's really on the licenses, with a major on board?
Just watched the prison film Brubaker on the Internet for free. Great film based on a true story. Now watching Midnight Express, another film based on a true story. Think I'll watch 'Scum' tomorrow, Ray Winstone 'Where's your tool'? what tool? 'This fecking tool'. A Zambian jail cell especially made with Kalaba copper, you can't make this up. Some male rapist for cell mate and you hit the jackpot!! Even those 3 films won't be as bad as a Zambian jail cell. Tomorrow verdict if show up.
I agree that the scoping study delay is overdue? One can hazard a guess to why the long delay, and I came back with only one possible outcome. The oxide ore is being processed at pure 100% copper. That copper is being shaped to make two extra prison cells, for the eventual sentences of two former employees of Arcm. The keys for the cells will be made from Kalaba copper, and each key will be engraved either Zamsort or Zaco. Hence we await the scoping study with excitement. Casa looking like it will get just over the line, fingers crossed.
Fulmar, Seis exactly why is everyone after our licenses is the ultimate question? Guess we have what everyone wants. Once the court cases are done, and the Troll is silenced, let her have her moments! We'll see who really wants to do a deal / not forth standing Kalaba getting the nod to production. With CE via a conveyor belt, reducing costs and FCF of $25m+. I look forward to hearing that MM is serving jail time for all his cowardice acts of intimidation. Won't be long until Arcm are back in the driving seat, and every man and his dog and goldfish will be wanting to buy in. The Troll may deramp, but Birdy loves 'good head'. Big up Birdy as that's all the Troll knows.
Seis, it seems that the Geology of Arcm is of most interest to Birdy and Co. The fact that we have a erroneous legal claim against the company. A concerted effort to oust the bod, and implement a Birdy transfer. On top of the table, is a attempt to claim our licenses when due for renewal. Seems this plan has been long in the making, with ex directors involved in destabilising the company via Kalaba plant. Smear campaign against the bod on bb's and social media. All flags point back to the Birdy and Co. When they are trialled and convicted, watch the silence from certain individuals who think we'll pay MM off? One thing is the licenses African Pioneer have bought close to ours. Plus XTR's licenses in Zambia that some may not have realised. Its been all about destabilising Arcm, to oust the bod and join the licenses together as one package going forward. Maybe there's a link to FQM's in there. They run out of ore in 31-32,and need to keep the plant running for the foreseeable future? So the endgame is definitely Zambia and their assets, wether prove up and sell. Or gain by Macheviallion methods, which seems to be the case. As for Botswana, same applies, followe Arcm and try and gain a foothold into further licences. This has been an agenda driven campaign to gain by fictious claims, all of Arcm's licenses. When the court cases starts on 16th of Feb, we'll see who bottles it first? My money is on BC dropping MM as the architect of said crimes of misrepresentation and fraud. Then watch the Birdy crawl back to XTR /GLR and BZT for safety in numbers. A calculated act to dispose of NvS and claim rights of licences and make a larger package to sell on. And that's without the Botswana deal, which is starting to make sense to me,with African Pioneer in the mix. Once MM is in jail, his fanatical supporters(2) will be quiet on twitter. Games in Zambia make Game of Thrones look like childs play in comparison.
It's been reported that majors need to increase spending by $100bn, just to get up to speed with current EV metals demand. Going forward, investment likely near a $1tn figure . Those are big numbers and there's some big majors around the world. The super commodity cycle will be decades, as we try and move to low carbon economy. 1bn cars average on the road, 15kg of copper, EV's 65 - 75kg needed. So 50kg more for Copper and you still have Lithium, Graphite, Cobalt and Nickel as well. So crazy numbers needed, and suspect all majors will be investing in all them commodities. Casa will get over the line, those Canadians know what they are doing. ATB everyone.
See the Troll is flapping its wings, trying to make noise to ' my inquisitive research'. Copper thru $10k tonne price. Licenses intact, as per rns or below Fulmar's post. Casa deal slowly over the line soon. Court cases to be dealt with, as and when they stop feigning health /injury issues. Remember when she said that she had been in contact with the Nomad and Broker over the last summer. Ask her to post the evidence here? Not a 'Scooby Doo' in reply. XTR, AA didn't want it, so let a junior take it up. Capex will be $150m+ so sale will be $50-75m. If Sentinel sold for a measly $250m,why would XTR sell for xyz? Less than 500k of copper v 5m tonnes at Sentinel. So sorry if you thought it would sell for $250m,but capex is the elephant in the room. Sentinel capex was $2.2bn.
If fraud and misrepresentation is the charges brought against MM and BC, by the local authority /police? Then why are they deliberately trying to postpone the trials by health reasons? Step up and defend yourself in court, why hide if innocent? If MM skips the country before his trial, an arrest warrant will be issued. Then there's no way back to Zambia, unless he hands himself over to the police. Kinda looks guilty before said trial has begun? Cases look weak at best, and everyone involved knows this. Payoff ain't going to happen via Kalaba plant / money. Just prolonging the inevitable, and we got the Casa money coming in, as Rackla push ahead with their commitment to buy. Don't see any other issues other than trials being postponed for ulterior motives? You can only delay for so long, guess that the most vocal on here and twitter are now clutching at 'AIR'. Still suspect this weekend some 1 posters to suddenly appear with Facebook docs and fake emails /stories?
Strange how AA are interested in Arcm's licenses, but not arsed about XTR's licenses. And on top of that, other majors are interested in the licenses. Must really wind some non invested, that our licenses are coveted by numerous majors? Considering that Australia is such a great place to do mining, compared to Africa. Still one wonders, at least some on here, why are they interested in Arcm's licenses and not other Juniors? Guess the whole charade was to bully the bod into handing over the Kalaba plant, as some sort of payoff. Then try and get the licenses for free when renewal date was incoming. Then raise a lot of local anti campaign via local chiefs, and on social media like here. Guess the bod dug their heels in and told the chances to F ucc off. Colin Bird went along with the scheme, thinking he'd be the 'Head Honcho'. XTR, GLR and BZT and still at his age he wants more? But wait, them companies combined don't have what the majors want, and Arcm possibly may have? Still no need to spread misinformation, it's always the truth from the horses mouth. Come court cases, we got the soap ready for shower days. One week to go Mr Brian 'innocent' Chisala. Wow on a different note, Copper flying, as consolidation over $4lb has been confirmed.
