Fantastic update, this is really going to fly today. Being picky, would like to have seen news of a dividend increase. Hopefully that will come with the half-year results next month. Onwards and upwards Belvoir!

Ringing lots of bells there alf. FWIW I used to work with the eponymous Stephen Nigel in a previous life when he was one of BP Nutrition's young thrusters out of Northwich. Interesting character, I'll say no more than that.
I guess the one thing we can all agree on is a hope that our long-term loyalty to this company will eventually be rewarded handsomely. I'm hoping to be here when it happens. K

I think colbalt is just articulating the frustration many long-term shareholders feel with the share performance over many, many years. Alf brags about having a better average than many but I don't remember the company advising people to stay away when the price was 7p - just the opposite! Like many, I remain here because of the science, and in the belief that, sooner or later, the value of that science will be realised. You have to admit though, it's been a long, long time coming and no sign of it emerging any time soon. We all have a shelf-life, after all...

Good for you potnak, I'm pleased for you. Surprising how much more relaxed you can be about daily movements in the SP when you've banked some profits. I'm on a slightly different strategy having sold enough to make what I consider a reasonable return on a ten-year investment, and intend to keep the rest free-running until either the half in my SIPP exceed the lifetime allowance or we get bought out, whichever is sooner. It's this weird site ws, sometimes you just can't find recent posts - most confusing! Wish they would sort it out.
I'm not sure the fast-tracking of vaccines in a pandemic is going to help us get over the many, many hurdles that would lie between FF and a pharma application. There is a government-backed route to funding (AGILE), but since neither PXS or DSM has applied for funding to progress a claim I guess they don't think it would fly.
The main issue for me is the huge cost of any trials required to upgrade from food supplement to medication claims. I can't see DSM stumping up for it as it's not their area, so where would the money come from? Even a P1 trial would involve commitment of several £m and that's just the start.
Supplements have been prescribed by GP's for years. I worked in GP land in the 90's & we were doing it then (mostly GF breads etc.).
Completely agree with you re the potential here, clearly not reflected in the current SP. It won't move, though, without significant increases in sales volume and/or news from BYHEALTH, both of which are eagerly awaited. K

I can't see it rpg7, as interesting as it could be. It's a massive jump from dietary supplements to medical application. Having said that, if any of the Chinese research comes to fruition, it's much more likely one of the big pharma players would be interested in partnering with PXS/DSM to take something forward.

Coming off the highs now, maybe a bit of speculation? It was certainly being pumped at one point!

Agreed riolto, TW has had a habit of dropping after news whether it's good, bad or as expected. More important to ride the current rise into results day, then hold tight & hope for the best. As you say, it's the outlook that the market will respond to, the HY numbers are largely factored in already. IMHO anyway.

Absolutely agree alf, no way can our dietary supplement meet the criteria for supplying the NHS with anticoags, however good we might think it is. This is strictly warfarin territory IMHO.

Thanks Wigan, that's a very helpful summary. It'll be interesting to see how it compares with the actual numbers, but closer than most I suspect!

Buying opportunity currently as the SP has dipped a little in the last few days. I suspect it's partly because the shares are trading XD and also the SP has run a bit ahead of the latest NAV, so probably a healthy correction at this stage. Yield has gone back above 6% now which should encourage buying. K

HINDY, 7%??? Where has that come from? 1.29% on HL.

Pulled back at the close, gave back half the day's gains. Shame, looking good up to that point. Must have generated a few sells.
