As has been flagged many times before, any market valuation would include the value of the SKIL platform which to date has produced potential best/first in class TYK2s in 1801/2 and the Aurora FLT3 molecule, all of which are patented up to the eyeballs!

Sierra special meeting of stockholders to approve GSK deal scheduled for June 29th - presumably we won't hear anything regarding the progression of SRA737 until after the 29th however given the pace at which the deal has progressed thus far, it could be very soon after 29th?

AndOnThisDay - I am taking early clinical to be Phase 1 trials for which we already have the necessary funding. Sareum does not have the capacity to manage Phase 2 trials which are likely to be designed by the partnering/acquiring organisation to fit with their pipeline objectives. My guess is we’ll be on-licenced/bought out long before phase 2 trials commence. GSK has to be hot favourite for all the reasons previously discussed.

Aber - Sareum’s stated strategy is to develop programmes to late preclinical/early clinical and therefore no prospect of a placing on the cards.

Whatever deal is struck shareholders will be need cast-iron, copper bottomed guarantees that the legals absolutely protect the interests of Sareum shareholders i.e. no repetition of the Pronai/Sierra debacle.

Page 35 onwards of attached provides a fascinating insight into the negotiations between Sierra and the various parties, of which there were apparently many potentially interested in doing a deal.
In particular the timescale from the announcement of the Momentum study data on January 25th, the initial approach from GSK on February 17th, signing of the confidentiality agreement on February 18th and subsequent confirmation of the deal between Sierra and GSK on 13th April, i.e. under 2 months, gives an indication of what we might expect for SDC1801/2.
Also the fact that there were reportedly 10+ potential acquirors of which a number signed confidentiality agreements, which would have given them access to SRA737 and exposure to Sareum is encouraging.
