Would be nice but we still have a way to go before we get down to 0.5, they won't announce anything before we hit that target. My Guess it will be Q2 next year.

If he didn't see a good return on his investment he wouldn't be invested. He's not stupid and he knows full well the big pay day is on the horizon.

EnQuest still has the potential to hit a Market cap of $1b within the next few years.

I'd rather invest my hard earned into a company who's CEO has a considerable amount of his own hard earned invested. Any CEO could just jump ship if the waters get rough, when you have a massive amount of you own money invested you would fight to the bitter end to not let the ship go down, AB has already proved this in the past.

My money is safe as houses all the time he has his and his families money invested.

Seems like a no brainer to me, they must have various plans for the BB fields, possibly a different FPSO, Sell ours add a few quid to it and buy a larger more powerful vessel.

So my question to IR was;

What value do we currently have on the EP ? All I got was a politicians answer. So I then said we must have a value on the asset surely, its not sensitive information, If we were considering any offer is it £100 or is it £100m, so I then gave a few options in brackets giving me a rough idea. Replied but completely Refused to give me any indication. Why ?

All I got was: I am reluctant to assign a speculative value to the asset given that any sales price will be dictated by market conditions, including any requirement for the purchaser to modify the vessel prior to deployment.

What I can confirm is that the vessel has been well maintained, performed very well when in situ at Alma Galia, and has an extremely powerful power unit, all of which suggest it retains significant value to the right buyer.

The EnQuest Producer remains under consideration as a component of the Bressay/Bentley development concept, but we have also had interest from prospective purchasers in recent months in terms of selling the asset. I believe that we would consider selling the vessel if we received a compelling offer, but that would be a decision for management.

So what do we believe its current value is ? I would guess at a minimum of $85m

Just reading the Tullow's update, First thing that springs to mind is how the hell do they have a MC of £412m against our £290m carrying a debt pile of $1.9b against our $670m and with production at 53k against our 47k, both pay roughly the same amount percentage of Tax. Tullow aiming for $100m of FCF for 23 with Enquest aiming for double that.

Doesn't make much sense other than Africa being classed more politically stable than the UK. That's just Mental !
