Afternoon Stevo, At the AGM there was a lot of talk between board members and us about the push to be in the top quartet of UK producers, its what the company is aiming for. A few years ago I remember Jefferies note about if Enq can raise production to around 75k bopd it would basically step us up massively in its ratings.

This must be the transformational growth the company has been speaking about for the past 5 months.

We can't be far away otherwise AB wouldn't open his mouth. The frustration is getting to him as well.

We have seen zero shareholder value and the market has run out of patience along with jefferies waiting for it.

But what can we do? I still have 100% faith in AB and the team to deliver so all I can do is sit desperately hoping they do pull of this deal. I also think Labour will back down on its damaging EPL over the next 18 months. That alone would restore most losses we are currently sitting on.

Can EnQuest reach the top quarter of U.K. producers ? Yes I believe we can but 75kbpd is a big jump from where we are now but there are lots of cheap assets out there waiting to be bought we just need the right ones. Bressay is the big one, if we can get that underway our future is set in stone.

Now that Ed and the Labour party have seen what is happening with the Grangemouth oil refinery and the massive loss of jobs within the community will this hammer home how damaging the EPL Windfall Tax is doing.
