Both SQZ and ENQ had solid updates considering Both forecast a slight drop in production targets

If we could use all the remaining buyback cash and buy stock at current SP we would cancel 67m shares - like I said before this Buyback programme was just to tick a box as it makes no material shareholder value and probably wont complete by the end of the year anyway. What we need are dividend payments for next year say around £50m a year for shareholders to retrieve some value back into the stock at least then we should see a SP of 25p -30p

With the large lease price drop for Kraken in April we can afford it unless oil price fall further

The Budget on October 30 is driving fear into the market and rightly so.

Reeves must reduce the Tax burden on North Sea oil producers and split oil from Gas prices as it’s unfair to Tax them as one unit.

The EPL charge has to be changed to a far fairer system. Anything under $80b should be zero EPL charge and the percentage of it increases as the price moves up she should also include 100% relief against the EPL for any green energy investment. Should also allow the interest charges on debt pre the announcement of the Windfall Tax

A transformational deal would be if the government reduced the damn windfall tax or changed it to a much fairer system. Zero EPL under $85b for oil and another system for Gas, the two need to be separated.

Agreed now is not the time to sell but with the way our SP is falling can't help the fear factor is certainly rising.

Where is this transformational deal ? We need it now to bolster the SP and also clears the way for AB and the directors to buy stock again.

I see they have revised their Q4 Bent price target down $5 to $75 also forecasting 2025-2026 to be lower than 2024 due to oversupply

Elephant in the room is Labour’s Miliband and I think the Autumn Budget is scaring investors
