Last week Ed Miliband singed off on a 524 hectare solar farm in Lincolnshire owned by energy company Ecotricity

Ecotricity is owned by Dale Vince, a Labour Party donor who has given £5.4m to the party since 2021

Timothy claimed the Energy Secretary has “fallen short” of public expectation and “It seems clear that there is indeed such a conflict in this decision”

That's exactly what I said in a letter to my MP. (Why are we importing oil and Gas from dirty producers when our own producer's have to abide to strict safety and emission laws. I thought lowering the counties carbon print was the number 1 plan (obviously not).

How can a Judge in that position not understand the importance of Gas production in this country. The country is heated with Gas boilers FFS, Why doesn't he/she understand by reducing imports and pumping our own Gas we could lower our Carbon footprint.

Cracks are forming and MP's now piling the pressure on Labours flawed renewable plans. Even RR from accounts is admitting the obvious and red Ed's X posts are showing signs of desperation so he's feeling it now. How much longer can he keep on defending it before Starmer has to have a quiet word in his ear.

Lower the EPL rate, separate oil and Gas and accept the fact we need Gas turbines to produced most of our electricity and lower the countries Energy bills. We could be selling Gas to Europe as well FFS.

If there were any truth behind his statement then why are we the only country paying extortionate electricity prices !

We cant be far away from completing on this transformational deal otherwise why highlight it again.

The SP movement ran out of steam on the 6th with Brent at $77, the SP didn't react to Brent rising from $77 to $81 but now we are down 3.4% with Brent falling just half a Dollar.

My view exactly. The industry should have taken the government to court over what is classified a windfall and prove the fact oil and gas are 2 separate commodities and should be classed as such. They should have also stated how unfair it is from a debt point of view.

How can she stand there boasting about a £600m deal spread over 4 years.

Just embarrassing it really is. The NHS spends that in just a morning.

Labour really are in a big mess and their only quick way to lift the economy is to bite the bullet and drop the windfall tax get the North Sea pumping oil and gas, get the Gas turbines spinning again lowering our electricity prices
