Walk99 You do realise Low sulphur heavy oil is used for shipping fuels and demands a higher price than Brent don't you !

Take a look and the oil coming out of the Kraken field and what premium it makes over Brent.

Also both fields hold a large Gas cap that can fuel the extraction of its own oil lowering the Opex cost dramatically.

EnQuest is a superior and more diverse company than Serica and that will be highlighted when we get the details of this offer is there is one. Veri Energy is a dark horse and should not be included in this deal.

SQZ will hit the buffers going forward without this deal and I hope AB drives either drives a hard bargain or walks away.

AB is EnQuest largest shareholder and he wont be low balled that's for sure.

Both companies will add value a combined entity but I believe EnQuests future looks far more positive and could easily 3 bag from its current silly Mcap once dividends are announced

EnQuest have a lot of experience dealing with FPSO breakdowns and botched builds by their owners. The Enquest management will help sort this problem for good once the deal is agreed.

AB won’t have used our SP to value the company during the negotiations and that’s probably why Bowyer made such a big thing about it at the AGM last year.

What value does AB believe we are worth? We we find out in the next few weeks.

Pete you cannot do that calculation with the SP from each company as the amount of shares in circulation are completly different, you can only use the market caps of both to work out a rough figure and even then that's the market valuing the companies and not how the board would value each company with all the assets and future values they expect.

If someone made a offer for a all out share purchase of ENQ there would be not a chance in hell AB would accept 12p per share for it, he would rather stick pins in his eyes ! It would have to be north of 25p for him to even look at it.

Stevo could you shed some light on what all these forms are, such small amounts on the notifications Long and short positions, looks like they are trying to keep the SP in a tight range for some reason

Hi Kamrat, I agree with you, we are the stronger company here and we have a much better future looking ahead, with both BB sitting there waiting and the EnQuest producer ready to go to work our asset base is solid and way undervalued. Going it alone requires another 2 years to unlock the true value of our investment but with SQZ on board that will accelerate it but we may not end up with the same rise but we would be 2 years into a nice dividend package.

We just need AB to earn his money during negotiations. I'm sure he will !
