I don't understand how we fallen to a 5 day low when Brent has moved up over 3 dollars during the same period.

We are still stuck in a stalemate position at the moment paying just the interest on the debt the EPL charge and scraping enough to pay a small dividend and that's it but that could change any day.

We ain't going anywhere until we increase our UK production to make use of our TAX credits or if Labour ease the EPL - Trump pointed out the stupidity of it and the world is watching Labour wreck our economy.

The question is how much longer can Starmer hold on to the embarrassment of it ?

Hosie shows his calculations at the bottom of the notes as to why he's given Enquest a net asset value of 29p per share and if the EPL is changed to a fairer Tax system then he believes the net asset value would increase to 38p per share both using a average of $70bbl Brent

Just been told that that I must read the note its extremely detailed as to why James is so positive even gives his forecast about the EPL and what that will do to the valuation

He was always negative towards us so why the sudden change of tune ? I'm intrigued

Voice I don't believe it did as they could only purchase a percentage of the daily volume over a set number of days so really the amount purchased didn't affect the way the SP was heading. You could say it helped the sellers sell.

Aim a $15m buyback programme was announced on the day of the AGM last year it should have completed during 2024 but it failed with just over half of the $15m being used up. So what happened to the remaining amount ? We assume it was set aside for the dividend paid out this year but we haven't been told if this was a dividend for 2024 or 2025. bit sneaky if you ask me because they can now say shareholders received returns in 2024 and 2025. I did ask about returns for this year at the AGM but they swerved answering that. So in my view they are going to see how the year pans outs before committing to any returns for 2025
